  1. Yeah, Gears of War is great in co-op.
  2. I started playing the game last Saturday, and I expect that come this Saturday I will be finished with the game. There really isn't enough to do. I still consider it a 'good' game, just not substantial enough to live up to the hype.
  3. I remember when the 360 launched, I heard a lot of people complaining that 06 was a big let down.
  4. I don't like most RPG's, but loved Oblivion. It's just an experience you need to... experience?!
  5. Had mine since launch day in the UK and tonight it finally died. I put in my new Crackdown disc, played about 2 minutes of the game before it froze. Restarted the console, got a blank yellow screen. Restarted again and got the 3 red lights. Always thought I'd been pretty lucky, but I guess not. At least I bought it from where I work so I can swap it for one with a more recent manufacture date. Funking sucks that it had such a short life though. >:E
  6. Normal I think. Just find that some of the checkpoints are a long way apart. Though to be fair, I've not played the game that much since I got it at Xmas.
  7. I must suck because I'm finding the single player nigh on impossible.
  8. I enjoyed it the whole way through, didn't find it too challenging really, but it certainly was the best RE since the original.
  9. I think I spent about 95 hours on this game, completing all the guilds and the main story. After 95 hours I'd had enough, but it was a really memorable experience.
  10. I'll get it just because there hasn't been much around since December, but I'm not too bothered about the Halo 3 beta.
  11. I'm still using my launch day console without any problems.
  12. Some types of games I avoid online, just because previous experiences have shown I suck. But any fps/racing type game and the online side will often be more fun than the single player. E.g. PGR3 and CoD3 and in the future... Forza 2!!!
  13. There are 3 side by side comparisons, so I would guess it's either an option which graphics style you use or; they're just highlighting how much the game has been funked up.
  14. Take out the boomers from the safety of the house before the timer starts. When it does, just run like a motherbitch.
  15. I got an original Xbox probably about a year after its launch, and then the 360 on launch day.
  16. I got a Wii the other week and frankly I'm very disappointed with it. The controller feels like a chore half the time, Zelda seems exactly the same as every other Zelda, and the launch game line up was weak. I will give it more time and let the quality titles come, but let's just say I'm glad I've got a 360.
  17. I bought a Gameboy Player with my GC about 3 years ago. In that time I have used it just once to test it out.
  18. In the The Godfather, there are characters that will offer you the most powerful weapons etc in the game, which is followed by the Marketplace blade popping up. It is then that you realise you have to pay with effectively 'real' money, for something you can get if you just carry on playing. I think it's an absolute joke, and I refuse to pay for any content that isn't 100% new and not already on the disc.
  19. Yeah, that's how I transfer images to the 360.
  20. Max Payne 2 is brilliant! So was the original. I wouldn't hesitate to buy either for a bargain price.
  21. Yeah it's nice to have, shame it's so laggy on Live though. Single player is good as always though.
  22. At least you can transfer PS2 saves to PS3. The 360 has no easy way of transferring old xbox saves.
  23. I put down a deposit on a 360 purely for Project Gotham 3, and only wanted a DS when I first saw Nintendogs.
  24. I liked Prey but it was too short, some of the 'innovations' were just annoying and the puzzles were mostly too easy. I still enjoyed it, online was fun but laggy (360) but I think I preferred Quake 4 (PC version).
  25. I had some good fun playing Halo PC online. Haven't played it for well over a year now, but this topic has brought back some good memories.
