16 hours ago, phaeron said:- The cassette tape indicator now switches from Play to T-Play when KSO Turbo 2000 is activated.
- Added a new turbo tape decoder that is level-based instead of slope-based and uses a linear phase high pass filter. There is now also an advanced configuration variable for the cutoff of the old slope filter HPF.
Thanks! 🤩🤩

New version.
Added ability to force copying more sectors than the drive can handle. This is useful for drives which don't care about returning actual geometry (e.g. XF551 clones with firmware adapted for 720 KB floppies).
Changes proposed and tested by @Peri Noid.

Yes. And no
Completed and released was Great Green Adventure 2: Prologue (as stated for example at demozoo) with one level only. Great Green Adventure 2 will be released this year.
I hope so

Of course. I can provide list of messages displayed by the application.

The idea for MILF - Medium i'd Like to Format - was born from the need to copy few sectors from one disk to another. Sending a specific configuration to a disk drive was also useful for me.
The program can send the most popular configurations to the device, copy selected sectors, create the operation log and later save it to disk. If you have patience, you can even use it to copy entire floppy disks, if you have at least two drives (this will not change, because the memory instead of the buffer is used to write the log of operations). You can also set automatic behavior when encountering errors, etc.

Version 0.8 final
Some minor fixes according to above mentioned release candidate, mainly for 80-column mode.
-
Version 0.8 release candidate.
- any command that requires entering a data record (also in the device configuration) can be exited using the BREAK key,
- files with disk mapping sets are saved on the SD card in the ATARI directory instead of D device as before,
- the program checks during loading whether the file with information about mapped drives is in the correct format, therefore, unfortunately, you should delete previous mapping sets and generate them again.
- fix for 80 column modes users (error discovered by @Peri Noid). EOL was missing in the list of mounted drives.-

Version 0.7New option that allows you to save mappings for drives 1-8 and quickly restore them:Save drive mappings to file / Enter drive mappings from file.It is useful when we want to recreate the environment for work or play. Files with sets are saved in the current directory / disk indicated by 😧-

New version 0.6c.
- fixed: navigating to the directories if their name was not uppercased always failed.

It turned out that SIO2SD creates files with a length of 0 bytes that cannot be formatted under SDX when mounted - we get the information "Drive not respond". Therefore, after creating the new ATR SIOSD, the Manipulator 06a asks whether to initialize such a file, giving the possibility to select several of the most popular densities.
Have fun!

I wrote a program which let you configure device, mount and create new ATR images into SIO2SD. It is not as sophisticated as Pajero's configurator, but I think, that it is easier to manage - as it is not required to remember a lot of keyboard shortcuts.
Of course there is a possibility to use SIO2SD Manipulator as "configurator", simply rename sio2sdman05.xex to sio2sd.xex and upload it into root directory of SD card.

Removed as requested... :-(
Thank you! Including single density ATR.
BTW. Hidden feature found? Anyone?

Besides, the New Years Disk 5 comes as a DD/180k disk with just one program (which you have to load manually). Here is a packed XEX of it, just 8kybtes short...

Yes, you're right. It#s better to leave it as it is. I requested the remove of the modded version.
Thank you, you are doing great job every year! Keep it!
-
I think that modifying is not necessary. Please do not do it. Intro works without problems with any DOS.
