I had a Joust cartridge that had a "P" and to my knowledge it was not PAL, it worked on my system no problem.

I'd be a little disappointed, personally. Mind you, screw holes are pretty common -- though it should either be mentioned and/or photographed in the auction. I grabbed a loose SL/RH for $10 last summer whose label was in fairly rough condition, screw holes 'n all -- though I still think I got an awesome deal. :-)Hey wasn't that my SL/RH???

Try cleaning the cart first as recommended above, i've found that the rattling inside some of those carts could be a chunk of glue that has fallen off the PC board. Doesn't hurt anything.
-
You're right ! it is a colecovision cart!
-
Thanks, I'm guessing its a Fisher Price cart.
-
Does anyone know what these carts are? Are they pirate carts much like the Zellers ones?
-
Hope someone can help, there is a RED 8-bit cartridge with no label. Just wondering who made RED cases for the 8 bit? and what it could possibily be? No I don't have easy access to it, so I can't just plug it in and figure that out :-)

Yes, that's him! He is the soup nazi!!!

The chips on my 7800 are soldered (aren't most 7800's soldered?) and I don't want to desolder the chips on my 7800. I guess I'll just wait for a spare 2600 to acquire.
Yes, I'm familiar with that tower. I'll try adjusting it.
The only test equipment I have is a Multimeter.
Thanks for the help!
-
No , what I meant was that I don't have a spare 2600 unit to swap chips. My only other spare unit is a 7800. The unit that is having problems is a Telegames II ...
-
No, I am not getting any video. I haven't ruled out a chip problem since I don't have a spare 2600 to test with. (I have a 7800)
-
well i'm a couple of minutes away of ditching this thing. It gives me all the correct values in the cart slot. I tried cleaning the cart slot , but no change. I also changed the RF cord, no difference. I would like to try replacing the chips but the only other console I have is a 7800, and I'm not about to desolder any chips off that to test out the Sears Telegames II.
I'll see if I can pick up a 2600 cheap and rip the chips out of it, or if anyone has some spare chips they'd like to sell please leave me a message.

also check out my other Atari auctions all ending this week
many 8 bit carts and some 2600 carts

Yeah I'm hoping for more than $6.00 for that case + 7 carts! The 7 carts are worth more than $6 alone

I can check the cart slot contacts, what values are expected with the voltmeter? Most were 3.5V and one or two 5V, some were 0.01V and 0.02 volts..not sure if that is correct
-
I swapped out the regulator and the power pack (9v) and i'm getting 5 volts and 8.0 Volts. Is 8 volts too low? What else can I check on this?
