    Hmmmmm....

Check out that auction again, its not for a single game it was for the lot of 5 games. Crazy Climber is included in that lot, along with Asterix and Obelix, MasterBuilder and Gas Hog. It appears that the Crazy Climber is the only NTSC game in that lot.

  3. Shaw.ca is a Canadian email address (usually Western Canada) Also, I see you won the XBox for $52? I doubt this seller is going to honour that bid! I'm sure you'll get an excuse, or no reply at all.
  4. Yeah your right. The 1943 is only worth a few bucks in mint shape, the 1943S is worth a little more, but thats not what he is selling.
  5. His ignorance isn't limited to video games http://cgi.aol.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...item=3900431246 Zinc isn't Silver, and this coin isn't worth anything over 50 cents. A nice mint, (out of the roll quality) coin is probably worth about $10-$15.00

  15. I really wanted the Poopeye rare cart.
  16. Anyone here familiar with ArcadeOS and AdvancedMAME? I just installed ArcadeOS using a ISO image boot disk, but for some reason I can't get any display on my LCD Monitor. I keep reading about using an Arcade Monitor, but I am choosing the standard VGA monitor. Is it because I'm using an LCD this doesn't work? Is there anyway I can manually configure AdvancedMame to use my LCD Monitor?
  17. The auction says "cartridge compatible" and I don't know if it is, but it looks like a cartridge slot underneath one of the controller bases?
  18. Actually, it probably is serious. People (mostly businesses) pay alot of money for a number that is easy to remember. 867-5309 would be a great number for a Jenny Craig office Recently, the number 777-7777 was sold in my area for over $100,000 to a Taxi cab company.

Yeah, thats it! Although they were reconditioned, i couldn't notice anything different from a new unit. They were probably machines that were dead on arrival, and just needed a replacement part back at the factory -- not like they were used / played with. I had one mint, I always kept all the boxes and packaging material inside ( I'm guessing whoever bought it from me back in 1982 or 1983 got it in VERY mint shape. I used the proceeds to buy an Atari 400. I'd love to get my hands on a nice boxed Reconditioned unit!
  20. Is there a site I can read about Jamma? What it is, how it works etc. I see a lot of "game boards" being sold and wonder if this is the system where I just replace the board and I am playing a new game. Can a cocktail arcade be "Jamma"? Is there any Web site that describes how to build your own Jamma machine?

AtariPitbull, do you have a picture of this one??? This was my first Atari, I remember getting the refurbished one for $100 less then the new ones in the stores.
  22. yes, thats the way it works. For example, If you had a starting bid of $2.50, and a reserve of $3.00, then the BIN of $5.00 would remain until a bid of $3.00 or higher was made. I've seen auctions go higher then the initial BIN price, so sometimes BIN killing is good for the seller. I think it happened only once to one of my auctions.
  23. Looks like it's $39.99 now to ship 12 of them.
  24. Yeah, but a Zero feedback bidder. Good luck collecting the money.
