  1. Check out that auction again, its not for a single game it was for the lot of 5 games. Crazy Climber is included in that lot, along with Asterix and Obelix, MasterBuilder and Gas Hog. It appears that the Crazy Climber is the only NTSC game in that lot.

  2.

Maybe he's trying to get a few suckers to bid on his auctions.  That 1943 penny is worth about a dollar in near mint condition.  It's not at all hard to come by in loose change.

Yeah your right. The 1943 is only worth a few bucks in mint shape, the 1943S is worth a little more, but thats not what he is selling.

  3. Anyone here familiar with ArcadeOS and AdvancedMAME?

I just installed ArcadeOS using a ISO image boot disk, but for some reason I can't get any display on my LCD Monitor. I keep reading about using an Arcade Monitor, but I am choosing the standard VGA monitor. Is it because I'm using an LCD this doesn't work? Is there anyway I can manually configure AdvancedMame to use my LCD Monitor?

  4. Yeah, thats it! Although they were reconditioned, i couldn't notice anything different from a new unit. They were probably machines that were dead on arrival, and just needed a replacement part back at the factory -- not like they were used / played with. I had one mint, I always kept all the boxes and packaging material inside ( I'm guessing whoever bought it from me back in 1982 or 1983 got it in VERY mint shape. I used the proceeds to buy an Atari 400.

I'd love to get my hands on a nice boxed Reconditioned unit!

  5. Is there a site I can read about Jamma? What it is, how it works etc. I see a lot of "game boards" being sold and wonder if this is the system where I just replace the board and I am playing a new game. Can a cocktail arcade be "Jamma"? Is there any Web site that describes how to build your own Jamma machine?

  6. Six switch system in the " Factory Reconditioned box": CIB

AtariPitbull, do you have a picture of this one??? This was my first Atari, I remember getting the refurbished one for $100 less then the new ones in the stores.

  7. yes, thats the way it works. For example, If you had a starting bid of $2.50, and a reserve of $3.00, then the BIN of $5.00 would remain until a bid of $3.00 or higher was made.

I've seen auctions go higher then the initial BIN price, so sometimes BIN killing is good for the seller. I think it happened only once to one of my auctions.
