  1. The BIN only stays if there is a reserve price on the auction (and the bid doesn't meet the reserve price), at least thats how it works on eBay. I'm guessing that auction had a BIN with no reserve price.
  2. Yeah, I just noticed that. If you look at the list the first 8 are the same as the last 8. Super Shrek Brothers is obvious a Super Mario ripoff.
  3. Not mine, but interesting. Does anyone own one of these? 5000 games? Are they all NES and Atari 2600? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3077829760
  4. I'd like to see that...
  5. Not mine http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3076621532
  6. I would expect that Zeller's wouldn't have been given the opportunity to sell those carts earlier due to some sort of litigation. I guess by 1989 or later that most of the companies that were infringed upon either didn't care, couldn't stop the pirating, or had gone out of business. Here is a manual for Earth Attack (Defender Rip off) LOL!!!
  7. Yeah, it might have been mid-80s they started clearing those carts out. I remember looking at the carts in the bargin bins, hoping to find something 8 bit related. I never bought them because I had sold my 2600 many years earlier to help pay for my Atari 400. I do recall looking at a bargin bin $3.99 Asteroids cartridge at Zellers, and commenting on how my parents paid $67.99 +Tax for the same cartridge back in 1981 or 1982. Funny thing is by 1986, I was already using an Atari 520ST. When I saw people STILL buying Atari 2600 cartridges, I was shocked!
  8. Zeller's is a Canadian retail store, its main competition in Canada is Wal-mart. They sold their own branded games for the Atari 2600 and sold other games and hardware for the Atari back in the 80s and 90s just like everyone else. I don't recall them selling their own branded games until well after the crash, it might have been the late 80's and early 90's when I would see bins full of Zeller's carts for $1.00 each. What you got there is an Activision game that just happens to have a Zeller's price sticker on it. Zeller's is still around today, and is pretty successful. They are owned by the Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) which is the oldest known established company in Canada (and perhaps North America?) (established in 1670)
  9. SOLD!! I wonder if she will accept an affair outside eBay.....
  10. That looks to be a baseball arcylic holder.
  11. What, you were joking???? why didn't you say so!!! And yes it would have been nice to sell it with a NES, but I already sold the two NES's that I had on eBay, and this is being relisted because of a NPB.
  12. I haven't bought them yet, I was looking for something to store some games and this is the only thing that I could come up with (that was close enough to fit a boxed game) http://www.wholesalecases.com/star-wars-supplies.html
  13. Yes, Acrylic hard case and I believe is wall-mountable. They are expensive, about $10.00 each. Might be nice for a wall display, or for rare CIBs
  14. I don't collect NES, and I'm going by what I've been reading on eBay. I've seen "Rare" E.T Atari 2600 Cartridges on eBay, so I should have known. Super Mario 2 seems to fetch more than 1 and 3 (on eBay) I've seen all three games (loose) go for over $40.00. In fact, I'm relisting this auction because of a dead-beat bidder (who won it at $24.50) didn't pay. The starting bid is 99 cents with no reserve, and the BIN is $29.95. So, we'll let the market decide what its worth.
  15. so what is it, common? I don't think its as common as 1 and 3
  16. What about this: It holds a Star War MIB Figure, but the dimensions are big enough to hold an Atari Game Box. In fact, you probably can put two game boxes back to back since the games are only 1" thick.
  17. All three games (Super Mario 2 is NOT rare) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3077459920
  18. Nice, how did you mount those carts? Is the backing cut out and you insert the carts into slots? or did you use crazy glue the backs of the cartridges so they stick to the backings :-) I assume you went to some framing place and picked that up and did it yourself?
  19. Baseball cards, Comics, stamps , coins etc. all have some sort of products that you can buy to display and store your collection -- is anything available that can be used for vintage video games? I'd like to frame a few Atari carts and mount them on the wall. I know there are plastic cases for other collectable items, is there anything that we can use for Atari carts? (Atari 2600 game sized boxes for example?) Just wondering if anyone has ever thought of something like this? I would think it would be cool to have boxed Pac Man, Asteroids, Space Invaders on the Wall in some sort of display case. Perhaps if there is enough interest, we can get these made?
  20. But he's selling the vintage fan-fold print out paper, not whats on the paper!!! :-) How about we all pitch in $1.00 each and buy it...and scans for everyone!
  21. That was soooo last week! That money is gone!
  22. LOL! I waited several hours before I did that BIN. It was hard to resist, I was hoping someone else would beat me to it, so at least I would have an excuse for not buying it. I'm gonna be selling some 8 bit stuff to pay for it now! LOL
  23. LOL. Never link to someone elses site if you're going to steal pics
