Hi all I have just got hold of a Apple iie computer that is working but on checking the power supply voltage at the connector to the board on the +12v I am getting 13.7v on switch on which then settles down to 13v is this too high.the other voltages are not too far out +5v is 5.45v -5v is 5.15v and -12v 11.96v. I have been after one for ages so don't won't to damage something on the board. Many thanks

This has been driving me mad for weeks I know I was doing everything right but could not work out why it was not working I had brought all of the parts off amazon including a box of mixed transitors but yesterday I decided to pop into a electronics parts store we have and brought another transistor and two resistors just to set my mind at rest. I put them into the ADE and booted first time I dont know if it was a scream of delight or one of belated frustration but everything is good.

Hi Thanks for the information and I agree with colour of the wires you have stated but still wont work just out of intrest could you tell me how you have set up the sd card incase thats an issue. many thanks

Hi Thanks for the reply I have had another go and still cant get it to work when I pull the reset it just boots to the typewriter again. I have connected white to data blue which shows the 5v reset and red as ground which is the opposite. I have put some images of my set up. many thanks

Hi all I have been trying to get a ADE working with my Coleco adam Expansion 3 but losing badly I have put everything together and installed the software into the arduino and everything looks ok but when I use the reset button on the adam nothing. I live inthe uk so could not get a socket for the adam cable so I cut the end off a spare adam keyboard cable I had and wired it to the arduino but it does not work. According to the connection diagram there should be 1 5v 3 grounds and a data and reset wire but checking my cable 2 wires show 5v and one 0.09v which is confusing the hell out of me. Could anyone please help me as I am desperate to get this working. many thanks.

Hi all I have just purchased a Commodore 128 which was sold with 3 faults the first was it would not boot into 128 mode which I immediately traced to a broken rom socket the second was a sticking key which was a little piece of the plunger had snapped off removed the little bit and key is working fine and lastly he showed a diagnostic cart in 128 mode showing most of the ram as bad. Now I have a diagnostic cart and it shows the same but the thing is it boots up in 128 and 64 mode with no issues although I have no software to try it at the moment but rather than start swapping ram chips is there an issue with the ram or is there something else making the diagnostic show this. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi All I have always wanted a Commodore 128 computer and have now got one on its way but unfortunetly it is faulty the seller thinks it could me a memory issue but would like the advice of the forum also I have seen videos of people programing a rom and putting this inside the computer to run diagnostics would this be possible as I have an eprom burner I have included a picture of what it is doing at the moment. Hi All The power supply for the coleco adam printer has three paper rifa x type capacitors which one blew chucking out the white smoke now I have replaced these with three correct volatage two 0.01uf and one 0.1uf capacitors https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264758516614?var=564742485053. But after replacing these with the ones shown above the printer is dead can anyone confirm the ones I have used are suitable or have I made a boo boo. Many Thanks

Hi all I have got hold of two Coleco Adam expansion module 3 which I cant test at the moment as I do not have a Colecovision to plug into them but I have pluged the printers in and one of them just kept clicking the head to the far left handside then white smoke came out the back. now I know the smoke has come from one of the paper capacitors that has decided to let go so firstly does anyone know how to remove the power supply from the printer so I can replace the blown capacitor and secondly there is an issue with the printer by the sound of it so any idea what could be the cause. Hi all Sorry in advance if I am sounding thick but I have an atari 400 computer and a sdrivemax drive plugged into it now I now how to load a bas file on its own as a tape via the sddrive but I have got some atr images which boot up into dos 2.5 when I search the disk it shows it has bas files on it but how do I get the bas files to load off the disk image. Again sorry if I sound stupid but any help would be great. Many Thanks in advance

Hi all I have a Atari 400 computer but no power supply I see it requires 9vac 3.4amps I have looked in my bag of old power supplies and found a multi adaptor it says 9vac 4 amps would this be ok but I am not sure about it being a switch mode power supply if that will make a difference any help please. I may buy a new cable but any ideas on the screen of death I have tried cleaning the cartridge slot but no success.

I have only got an rf cable for it and the other two I have work fine on that TV.

It's funny if I insert my cyber morph cart in I get a black screen but works fine on my other two consoles. But if I insert my skunkboard I get what you see in the video take no notice of the cross rolling that's the camera but it rolls up and down I have tried cleaning both cart and slot no change. Hi its a green led I already own a jaguar and brought another 2 consoles off a seller have no problem with my other 2 when you say control panel to alter the v hold are you saying on the jaguar itself. many thanks

Hi all I got hold of a new old stock jaguar console which when plugged in with a cartridge I get the red screen of death but also the screen is rolling. the cartridge slot is spotless as it's new so anyone have any idea what it might be. many Thanks in advance
