  1. As always, I charge a flat rate for shipping: currently $8 for USA orders, $40 for international. I know the international shipping is high, but that's because the USA Post Office has dramatically increased prices in the past few years. So take advantage of the good sale prices to make up the difference. :)

Sweet! I'll be getting Robinson's Requiem CD, the last CD to complete my Songbird CD collection ;) (apart from the long time Sold out CGE 5th Anniversary CD :(

I'll ask the other guys to see if they wanna pick up anything now as well. Cheers!!

  2. I need a console to start testing a game we plan to release soon, along with developing a new PCB =D. I was hoping I could trade something for the Console rather than having to go to ebay to buy one.

If anybody has one spare (as long as it turns on an play) that wants to trade, please Pm me.

    Cheers!

You're in the US i'm guessing? I'm looking at a Jaguar console bundle auction. I'd be happy to help out by lending you the console with hookups and a controller until you finish with testing on it. Or are you looking at getting one for keeps (sale or trade)? If the latter than i'm sorry but i just can't let go of any of my Jags! :D

PM me if you like, and good luck with your project :)

  3. Oh, and the original box cover was cut and inserted into a generic game holding case. This was how my Dad preferred storing games back in the day.

I think that's what will hurt the end price unfortunately. I have a CIB glass mastered release so am looking to get the earlier variant for the collection but wanted it complete so probably won't be bidding on this (considering i still have 2 New/Sealed IS2 mystery CD games as well :-D )

  4. Well, I finally got the game and i am NOT disappointed! Thank you to all involved in bringing this to fruition :)

I got the package last Thursday but did not open it until both ausretrogamer and iceman were at my place on Saturday for our day (and night) of Jaguar gaming. It was torture starring at the box for two days but somehow i held it together to open it up all-together and share in the excitement :)

A few pics from the day:

    Megablast with Xenon II

And as for the new soundtrack: we absolutely love it!!!

  5. From what I've read and seen, the B&C version has "B&C" in very small typeface on the label.

Some people are just collectors in the truest sense of the word and want the authentic original release.

I'm curious also. Started it at .99 to be completely fair.

I had one before that was still sealed in original shrinkwrap. This is actually the first time i've seen it loose (with manual) so now i'm double curious ;)

Good luck on your auction btw.

  6.

 Now this really pisses me off to no end!

What do we have to do to stop this? Burn peoples payment details into their carts? Actually, the people who enable this sort of behavior are the bidders...

I know :? but i think in regards to these bidders on the newer release carts they are people who have no idea about the work, releases or even Forums. They just see, read Limited/Rare (which in Jaguar cases typically are) and then bid away. I think this at least explains those that i keep seeing buying or bidding up and over twice the value of later release games (eg: Telegames or Songbird) that you can still buy new at less than half the price!

I know exactly who bought that copy on eBay and he won't be getting any more games from us. I had a feeling that he would do this as the address rang a bell as that of an eBay reseller.

That's great to hear Gaz! :) Is it a known Jag 'Offender' or someone newish (if you can say)?

  7. ...Plus there are space shooters as good as BSG (several of them) you can snag on the 3DO for $20-$40 bucks.

    3DO?!

Sorry, old instincts kicked in and i couldn't help myself. :P

Yeah, was watching this. Hoped to snag more Battlesphere copies for LAN'ing but it's looks like my 108 bucks just didn't cut it this time. :-D I don't think i'll be getting any more copies at the current market prices. Spewing i sold my other Battlesphere carts back in '08 - not to resell now, but to have a bigger network set-up. Oh well, at least i sold them at reasonable prices to fellow collectors, which i believe still have them now (except for Atari Smeghead whom i got the cart back again from... again ;) ).

  8. So, for the Adelaide Retro Computing Group meeting last night I asked Shamus to send me a build for people to play.

However, neither of us checked it and when I got there I'd made a cart of the debug version, LOL.

    Anyway, fun was had!

  9. IK+

    By far.

The only reason I still had my A500 until recently. This one amazing game.

Shame the PS1 port was turd :(

By far the one game (apart from Gauntlet II :-D ) that i would love to play and have a CIB release of is GODS from the Bitmap Brothers! However, not the ST port, but rather the Amiga version. This game is one of the two reasons i bought an Amiga 500 (with the other being able to play all the SSI AD&D Gold Box RPG's that never saw an ST release). The only two major differences that i vividly recall is the "hmpf" sound the character makes when he jumps and the weapon throw 'swooshing' sound fx whenever weapons are thrown. Little differences to some yet this made a big atmospheric difference for me whenever i played it.
