  2. Thanks K3V, thats very useful info, esp the comparison review of IS3 for the two systems (now i'm even more inclined to get a NUON ) The web site is pretty cool too Now i just need to familiarize myself with which games can be played on which 'zones' (eg. the Korean game can apparently only be played on the Samsung DVD-N591).
  3. Tyrant wrote: I very much agree with Tyrant! Many a time, the anticipation of an avent is greater than the event itself! (philosophy, 101 ) As for what i anticipate most; Eerievale (and i haven't heard of several of the other ones... )
  4. So far, I only have a Jaguar, but intend on getting a NUON sometime soon. But, first i have a few Q's: Which one is best (or pros's & con's of 'em all - if any)? Are they multi-region compatible? Does anyone know if they were released in Australia? The primary reason for wanting one is T3k, the newer VLM and Iron Soldier 3. Btw, i just got Iron Soldier 3 for the Playstation yesterday (pretty cool, except no 2-P split-screen simultaneous co-op ). Does anyone know how the IS3 games compare - PSX vs NUON
  5. Thanks for that justclaws i had no idea that there was a Jaguar Directory. I think thats a great idea! (but i can't seem to get the page up - i think the link is down )

My ONLY complaint is Level 63 (i think thats the one ) - i can't seem to ever get past this point, and i am intent on never resorting to cheats for this game. My housemate is also stuck on the same level and can never get past - even when we both start from the begining, we always seem to end up losing ALL our lives on this damned level ! (btw, its the flat level that is swarmed with all the 'electric eels'). But having said that, its not really the games' fault, but rather, our own incompetence at that level (NO!... Wait... its not my fault, its the controller! I swear!! )
  7. Do you think he believes his own s#*t or is he just taking the piss out of everyone Gunstar wrote: I couldn't agree with you more Gunstar, and i plan to do just that! (well... maybe not 10 )
  8. WOW! Well done on that great find I had to shell-out around AUD $245 + shipping for one, late last year (but it was well worth it )
  9. Toy Commander for the Dreamcast, and its also a simultaneous 4-P game. You can choose from playing with/using planes, helicopters or even land vehicles. This is one of the most enjoyable 4-P games that i (and my friends) have ever played, and one of the reasons for us looking to purchase a Dreamcast (traded in mine for the XBOX b4 it's launch).
  10. I have purchased some Jag stuff from them before. They are quick to reply/ship and their prices are good, however, their postage/shipping prices are near fatal! (at least when they send Overseas )
  11. Definately "2600" i have only ever heard it referred to as the "VCS" a couple of times (at the most). But then again, ... around here the common term for the Atari 2600 VCS is simply 'Atari'. I've experienced this here NUMEROUS times! I'm always searching for Atari Jaguar & Lynx items, but whenever i ask anyone about them, they always seem to show me 2600 carts
  12. Well i took your advice guys & just picked-up a loose Desert Strike for AUD $9.95 (thats around 53.10 kronor SwedenLynxer  ) As i said earlier, the carts' label is a little torn across the middle, but is otherwise in good condition. I tested it out a little while ago and it is a pretty cool little game. The Hockey title was not there anymore (maybe i was just imagining it was there ) & i didn't end up getting the other 2 that i wanted (it took a LOT of willpower) because i'm sussing-out some Jad CD Add-Ons on eBay at the moment. Btw, for anyone interested in converting different countries' currencies to their own, you can use this nifty converter below: http://www.xe.com/ Have fun
  13. Another Aussie Exposed! Listed below are the systems that i have & collect for: Atari Jaguar - My favourite system & the one i invest most in Atari Lynx - Just got back into it (due to 'work' purposes - play for pay  ) Atari ST - Selectively collecting the games that i want most (CIB) Atari 65 XEGS - (desperately) looking for a MultiJoy8 adaptor and games to go along with it (for multiplayer competitions) as well as some link-up games like Midi Maze, etc. Amiga 500 (1mb) - pretty much for collecting & playing AD&D / SSI RPG's only (CIB only!) as well as the legendary platformer - GODS XBOX - not really collecting for, mainly using it for Halo link-up deathmatches, and a few other titles. Eagerly anticipating the release of more multiplayer games (& looking forward to getting into on-line gaming soon) Playstation 1 - got it mainly for Iron Soldier 3 (to complete my Iron Soldier 'Trilogy' - with #1 on Jag cart & #2 on Jag CD  ) as well as the Raiden type shoot'em'ups & good RPG's I'm also looking to 're-claim' a Dreamcast! I want to get one again primarily for the exellent 4-P games: - Fur Fighters (looks much better than the PS2 version - IMO) - Power Stone 2 (one of my all time favourites - in multi-player mode!) - Toy Commander (great fun with 4 players) I would love to (& already plan to) set up multiplayer competitions (particularly on the XE, Lynx, Jaguar & ST's) in the near future! Hope to hear from all interested gamers soon

  15. I found these loose carts for sale nearby (AU $10 each) and was wondering if they are any good. The games are: - Hockey - Malibu Bikini Volleyball - Slime World (i already own one CIB ) Are these games any good (esp for comlynx)? Btw, there is also a loose Desert Strike (for the same price me thinks ) but with the label somewhat torn. Is this worth getting? (i know it's not comlynx-able)
  16. Welcome to Oz, Trotter I just found this thread! Hope i'm in time to host Trotter & take him sight-seeing I live in Melbourne, Victoria, AUSTRALIA PM on it's way
  17. hehehe... i too have the same problem, but i only have the cart - no manual for instructions, so i just stuck with playing BMX & Surfing (the Halfpipe seems to always give me High Blood Pressure )
  18. Yes thank you! (Btw, it looks great! )

  20. Sorry Stone - but ₤10 is too high an amount - that equates to AU $25 for us poor Aussies NOTE: = for your reply, but = for our crappy exchange rate! ( )

Trip_Cannon wrote: Nope Neither Telegames nor US Post or Australia Post could tell me what happened to it (must have been sent 'inter-dimensional post') I guess the good thing is that now i have accumulated some (Complete) CD software: - Afterburner - Baldies - Dragons Lair - Highlander - Iron Soldier II (just arrived yesterday ) - Myst - Vid Grid Plus - Black Ice White Noise (Rev 19) - Demo CD (from/with BattleSphere Gold) - J.U.G.S. CD So, i'm all set to go when i finally get the Add-On! The only problem now is - being tormented by looking at all these games' covers & not being able to play them.
  22. Hello I was wondering if anyone can help me out with info on this game. I have the sequel to this (Wizard's Crown) on my ST and now MUST play the original. So, I am also looking to get this game (Complete ONLY) from somewhere/someone. First of all, i have a 65XEGS. I know this game comes on disk(s) so i am also looking to get a disk drive. So my questions are as follows: - Can this game be played on the 65XEGS or is it for the 800 only? (i know very little about the different 8-Bit systems) - What disk drive would i need to get? - Does anyone have the complete game for trade or sale? As always, any imput is highly appreciatd
  23. I didn't know California Games was Comlynx capable. How is it played? In turns? Is it good when played linked-up?
