  1. May the Gods of the Alphabetical Order have mercy upon your soul!
  2. OK, i get to set-up my new/temporary Jaggy area tomorrow and this will be the first game to jump on for the High Scores. Expect a flurry of Participation points coming in soon!
  3. Yeah, i've been looking for all of the above as well (CD and cart) but to no avail. All the places i've seen that sold them are all sold out. If there is a list for any Jag second (thirds or other) run(s) i would love to put my name down for 'em
  4. Congrats! Great addition to the collection! I had the opportunity to buy one back in the early 2K's but instead went for a NIB Jaguar CD Add-On from GoAtari. The main reason for not getting the Battleshphere on Flashcart is because that version of Battleshpere was not able to be networked when demo'ed in Chicago. I would be curious to see if you can network this version to your Battleshpere Gold official release. If so, this may be a latter build, if not, an earlier one. Though i can't remember now if the Flashcart i was looking at purchasing was a Classic or Gold, i think it was a Classic. That would also make sense as the one dated in your picture would have come after the initial showcasing at CEShow's. I've still got one Classic and one Gold release but not at hand to check the dates. I'm sure someone else can share that info. If not, i'm setting up my Jag area next week so i can chime in again then. Btw, just the other week i started thinking and looking back at my old emails to see if i had the contact of the person selling that Battlesphere on Flashcart, now i see your post. How funny. This is now two for two Jag related coincidence-experiences within the last few weeks
  5. Welcome 'aboards' Where in Oz are you from? I got my Jaguar new from Sprint Electronics in Richmond (VIC) back in Jan of 1995. They started selling them about a year before that ($500 for system and $60 and $100 on various games). Having said that, they were an import shop and all Jags were NTSC models
  6. Welcome to the wonderful world of 64-bits! I will echo the fantastic suggestions already provided, and will offer a new one of my own If you like Mortal Kombat then get yourself Kasumi Ninja « it'll make you love Mortal Kombat even more!!!
  7. I'm spewing i missed out on ordering a copy of KA Aircars! Also wished i experienced ICD Aircars before i passed it on some years back (it was sealed so i didn't want to open it beforehand). So only version i still have and played is AirCars '94. i actually like it and want to get the other versions to network, preferably KA.
  8. Noted! I also have 2 CatBox's, a ScatBox and a ScatBox Deluxe so 4-P Battlesphere LAN is good to Go! Funny thing is, the rarest thing for our 4-Console Battlesphere LAN is actually getting together from different states!
  9. That is great to hear! Hope you're having a better run these days. I've not heard any news about you or your wellbeing in years, not since my last donation to Doug's bike ride (or was that fun run? hmm.. memory not as kind as it used to be) for Diabetes charity fundraiser, a looong, long time ago. Your "odd" contributions to the Middle-aged Hacker's Society sounds both cool and interesting. Thank you for contributing to one of my favourite Jag games as well as to the history of Atari in general and Jaguar specifically. I still have my Battlesphere and Battlesphere Gold along with a ScatBox and ScatBox Deluxe for Battlesphere link-up gaming. Just wishing i never sold my other two Battlesphere's to fellow collector's back in '08 as i would love to do regular 4 console/8-Player Free-For-All Battlesphere LAN's at our events and expos. Btw, just minutes before i read this, i found and was reading through The Making of Battlesphere document while going through my old Jaguar docs. Talk about 'odd'
  10. Haha, that reminds me of me (apart from making music about it ; ) Had a listen to the track, quite enjoyed it. I think it's very 'Antzy'/fitting! Btw, if you do make that VHS game for the Action Max, please let me know. i'd love to check it out and possibly do a feature of it at one of our events. Cheers!
  11. Hi skip! This year's EB Expo will be in Sydney once gain. The dates are set at Friday 30th September to Sunday 2nd October. Not sure if we'll have a retro museum this year though. I was the one to propose the museum at my initial meeting with them prior to EBX 2013 but it only materialized last year. In any case, thanks for the Jag offerings but in that regard i've got everything Jaguar that's official release CIB (and then some) plus, and more importantly, EB pay for it's transport and insurance Spewing to hear you won't be at PAX AUS this year! I'm going to miss our Annual catch-ups.
  12. Your memory is a 64-Bit juggernaut compared to my measly 16-bits of recall power! I've just finished the Trevor McFur episode and I'm confident, albeit a tad sad, that i will catch up to the latest episode in no time. I will then start to happily contribute to posed questions past, present, and future. Oh, and no flagrant lack of Oxford commas here!
  13. Being a fan of soccer games... i have both, played both, but like neither myself very much. Maybe it's just me, but my favourite soccer game to this day is still FIFA '94 on the Mega Drive with my obligatory 4-P party rulez: Offsides turned OFF and Cards turned Off So, as for my vote in this poll:
  14. After recently discovering this thread, i listened to the Obligatory Introduction Episode 00 and finishing that, instantly started up on Episode 1. I can honestly say i loved it right from the get go with the (Rad?) catchy intro tune and I can't wait for more! The only thing i'm disappointed with is that i'm a little late to the party, as my strongest memories and experience to share came from my initial purchases in Jan of '95 when i bought my new Jag (with Cybermorph) along with three extra games: AvP, Kasumi Ninja and Tempest 2000, followed shortly by Checkered Flag. These i had for years and played the most before discovering eBay around 2000, but i see all have already been covered. In any case, i look forward to hearing all about them from other people's experiences and learn new things along our entwined Jaguar journey.
  15. I've always wanted and tried to get into Xevious (ST & PSP) but never stuck with it for one reason or another. I look forward to remedying that situation with the jaguar release Please add me to the list
  16. Hehe, I specifically chose that particular set-up for two reasons: 1) Display the Jaguar on a top shelf of a cabinet in order to be clearly seen & help promote it in a land where it saw no release. 2) I made sure to display the best Mega Drive/Genesis & SNES games at the bottom so that everyone who wanted to see the popular games they had to kneel before the Atari altar of the Jaguar!
  17. I was sorting through last years expo photos and thought i'd share these. Pics are of some Atari Jaguar and Jag-Ware items that we set up in the Interactive History Museum at EB Expo 2015 (Sydney, Australia) as part of our retro area. I wanted to have one museum section highlighting gaming merchandise and show off some Totally Rad Atari Jag-Ware items!
