    So many interesting topics in one thread. Read and loved every comment. My thoughts:

    I am more into retro gaming than ever before mostly due to AtariAge with the HSCs, Activision Patch Quest, market place, and so many helpful members.

    I love the plug and plays. Have a couple of Atari flashbacks, Atari paddle plug and play and Just got the NES mini.

    Love the YouTube videos every time I get a new 2600 I like to watch a video for two minutes to help get me started. Glad folks can make money doing them.

    Metallica, though Load is my 8th favorite, I still think it is really good. And for those who havent heard the last two, you should, both great.

    Times for the week, all Atari 2600:

     

    For the end of the Summer 2018 Activision Patch Quest:

     

    Barnstorming 33 minutes - No Patch

    Ice Hockey 12 minutes - Patch earned

    Kaboom 14 minutes - No Patch

    Keystone Kapers - 57 minutes - No Patch

    A total of 13 patched earned this summer.

     

    New games I bought this week:

     

    Eggomania 15 minutes

    Moon Sweeper 5 minutes

    Taz 28 Minutes

     

    For the Homebrew HSC:

     

    Lady bug 18 minutes - last place

     

    Solar Fox 211 minutes

     

    Very fun week.

    I'm surprised you didn't get Keystone Kapers. That was the first game I ever maxed out. One time I decided to play it to see if it got any faster after a certain point. It didn't and I ended up going to 1 million.

    I am not even close to s patch yet in keystone Kapers. I need 35000 and my high is 18500 or so. A million in keystone is amazing. I am close in hockey and barnstormers. Not close in kaboom. Tried all four again this morning and will continue to try later as today is last day.

    All Atari 2600

    For the 2018 summer Activision Quest

    Ice Hockey. 20 minutes. No patch. Getting close.

    Kaboom. 29 minutes. No patch. Still struggling.

    Oink! 42 minutes. No patch. Getting there.

    Pitfall. 54 minutes. Patch earned. Lots of fun.

    Spider Fighter. 27 minutes. Patch earned. Fun game.

    Also

    3D tic tac toe 13 minutes. First time playing. Interesting.

    Solar Fox 198 minutes.

    NES Tetris 91 minutes

    For the Activision 2018 Patch Quest

    Beam Rider 64 minutes - Patch earned

    Enduro 49 minutes - Patch earned

    Grand Prix 26 minutes - Patch earned

    Ice Hockey 5 minutes - No Patch

    Kaboom 15 minutes - No patch High score only 1465

    Megamania 30 Minutes - Patch earned

    Spider Fighter 32 minutes - No patch received, not close yet.

    All seven of the above activision games are great fun to play, all classics, except Hockey.

    You didn't play River Raid 2 much during the regular season, but you started out with a solid score here in the bronze medal round. I thought for sure you were going to pick away at it like you did with Battlezone. Not enough time to play and practice perhaps?

    Its a shame you beat me by only 107,000 in river Raid two. As you thought I did try hard the last two days but only got up to 8,000 or so. If I was still in it I could have won this round ad I like these games. Good luck to you both.
