You'll have to scrounge for controllers unless you want to settle for SEGA Genesis controllers instead (they are easier to find) As for the TV cord, do you have the R/F adapter? I assume the cut cord is the cord that goes to the adapter? You can buy the end at Radio Shack and splice it to the cut cord (just how much is missing?) That should do it. Of course somebody here with more repair experience should feel free to trump me on this. Its almost too easy.... Workshop Stan

Will anyone be officially representing this fine website at the Cinciclassic? If not, is there anyway we the small fry could help spread the word?
-
WOW! Nobody has cast a vote for Frogs and Flies yet! Its one of my fav 2 players. I like Mario Bros. as a 2 player as well.

I keep mine in boxes sorted by company and further sorted by label type if applicable.(like for Atari, red label, silver label, regular label, etc) Sortin' Stan

Pifall!: Just pick a direction (right or left) and set off on your adventure. You can try the underground passages, but they skip screens so navigating can be a headache. Basically, just explore until your 20:00 min are up. Pitfall II. There is a gold bar to the far right of where you start. Beyond that, work your way down the far right shaft to start, then work your way through the shafts heading left. You are looking for Rhonda, the Raj Diamond (its a ring), and Quickclaw the cat. If you have maps they should help a lot in locating everything. Happy hunting!

What are your favorite and least favorite Imagic games
StanJr replied to woodyi76's topic in Atari 2600
Do you mean the Noah's Ark 3D game or the "el Pinto Grande Battles it Out" article next to that! -
Hey, he did find that 2600 shell! That's gotta count for something. You also found $40 just sitting in the printer? 70's, either you're blessed or you are making this stuff up.
-
70's your killing me. The printer is super cool too and for only $5 is even sweeter. Good for you.
-
I know a guy who sells 2600 shells for $5. If anybody is looking for one

Oh yeah, that is REALLY creepy. You know, despite the total chill factor of the episode, I think Diff'rent Strokes did an excellent job of handling a topic which is very sensitive. The episode didn't talk down to the audience very much and it was full of some really good advice and information that families need to hear. I applaud Diff'rent Strokes for the job they did. And the show still has relevance today. Now, I never, ever want to see it again! Mr. Horton is one messed up, sick son of a As for the brain, Lemmi, you can have it next weekend, but I need it on the 10th so I can go to the Cinciclassic. Diff'rent Stan

Lemmi! You beat me to this post! I'm watching this horrible episode (its actually a two-parter) as we speak! It still gives me chills. We must be doing that brain sharing thing again! RUN ARNOLD! RUN!

I'm not sure that's something I'd even wish on somebody I don't like. I mean yuck. A bad sunburn, I might wish on somebody I don't like, but perverts may be a bit much! EEEEP! Grossed out Stan

Could somebody post screen shots of these different graphics and such. I'm just curious.

I've never been in a "chat room" before, mostly because I didn't want 45 year old mouth breathing basement dwellers trying to hit on me thinking I was a 14 year old boy (too many nightly news reports about the "evils of the internet, I guess). But I'd certainly be interested in one here. I'm not even real sure how it works, so Alex, Albert, be sure you have clear instructions on how the thing works. Chatty Stan

hmmmm "mostly" agree, huh? hmmmm.....

Methinks Atari Jess doth protest a bit too much, eh? I think its refreshing that there isn't a bounty of XXX video games. I mean, we're oversexed as a society as it is. I'd like to think there are some safe havens from perversion. Its not that I don't get the joke, its just that the joke gets old quick and then becomes inappropriate and embarassing. Like making out in front of your grandmother (or worse, WITH your grandmother) (Sorry, that one was just out there waiting. Its wrong, I know. I apologize right now.) By the way NE146, I didn't know exactly what your avatar was for the longest time, but when I found out Stan rated "R"
-
Atari-Jess used the ANGRY STAN face! Does that mean I get royalties? Have you seen any of these adult games? They totally pervert everything that is good and holy about the 2600. This is just wrong, people. Just wrong. Shudder, shudder... Stan

Oops! I forgot about Crash Team Racing! That is the best cartoon racing game for the PSX. I've wasted many many hours on that thing. So I guess there is a Crash game I like.

HE'S ALIVE! JAH FISH IS ALIVE! Man it is good to hear from you, man! Sounds like you have your plate full! Had to give back your licence? That's a downer. Nice to hear from ya!

Are the carts you are picking up in the game just lying out in the open? Or do you have to uncover them by looking in stuff or opening up boxes or something? Do negative point carts look any different from good carts? Can you buy/sell/trade carts with other characters in the game?
-
Huggable Plush really grates my cheese! I hate it when people take something and make it all cuddly and loveable. I'd go nuts if somebody made a plush Space Invaders space ship (like the one on the label). if its not cuddly and loveable on its own, don't stuff it and expect me to love it! Stan

How often do you check the local thrifts? How often do they have something new (anything from old couches and Barry Manilow vinyl to atari carts? What's their turnover rate for stuff? The places around here are good for a check-in about once a week. That's not saying I find something once a week, but that I always see new junk in there every week.
-
I just e-mailed you some other stuff. I won't repeat it here, so you can keep stuff more secret. This is kind of a public forum! Top Secret Stan

OOOOOO! Don't give anything away! I just wanted to make sure that the game was more than just getting lucky and stumbing onto some rare carts (but the more I think about it, that's kind of how it is in the real "wild." Might not be too bad of an idea) Finding the right balance of lucking into carts and knowing where to look might be the ticket. Will there be more detail to the inside of the house? How much detail can you pack in? I still have that original screen shot you made when you were going to do this for the 2600. I liked how you wanted to track each type of cart found. Anyway you can do that in this one? Might help you solve your rating dilemna?
