  1. I love Point and Click games, plenty of humor around. Started with at least on The Switch: Return to Monkey Island, it was pure fun. The on to Leisure Suit Larry Wet Dreams Don't Dry, my only real problem with the game is it's controls. More than a bit awkward, but playable. Then I hoped it's sequel Wet Dreams Dry Twice. Even though it was a legal download through Nintendo's eShop, buggy as hell.... totally unplayable. May get a physical copy. After a sidetrack to both Discworld games PS1. I started again with Sam and Max Save the World, total fun then on to Beyond Time and Space when I am done. Got a really good deal on 4 Deponia games $1.99 for all of them. Looking forward to checking them out.
  2. Your welcome and btw everything has been given away
  3. Manuals are now gone but the discs are still available
  4. You don't have to pay for postage I just want it gone World Series Baseball -Genesis manual Wii Sports manual Buzz! Master Quiz PSP manual Cruis'n Wii manual Wii Balance Board manual Paradise Eve disc 2 only PS1 ImageStation Express Upload software CD PC and Mac from 2005
  5. Anyone who says gaming is declining has not looked at the bigger picture which should include Retro Games. Old consoles at least some now are going for record prices, some games are now more expensive than rent. People are not buying them just to sit on a wall, they actually play them. I met a 20 something who recently had a PS2 party at their home. Take the gaming store I frequent, they literally sell more retro games than modern ones. Is it no wonder the modern systems have retro games. It is possible to get the Original Doom for the Switch, or do I have to remind everyone of that Toe Jam and Earl remake. Not to forget the tons of games you can get for mobile. I would say gaming is better than ever.
  6. Started to play Return to Monkey Island - Switch My 1st time playing this game and I really like it.

  7. I just got a copy of the game the other day and this Sonic Fan loves it. So many games, so many I never played before. There is a lot I still need to figure out and a lot of which I found. So I figured why not start this here. Extra Lives are coins Knuckles can get an Invincibility Monitor in Sonic 1 Marble Arch 1. Just go right to the wall and climb up. I discovered it hoping to bipass most of the level, but made my discovery.
  8. I just bought a Memcard Pro for my PS1 games and already it's the best memory card I ever had. Easy to use and set up, and loading saves is super easy. I was eager to get one of these after I discovered that a few memory cards had gone bad and I lost what to me were important saves. Mainly games with levels that took me hours to complete. At least with this I know they are safe.
  9. I did a little research and it turns out EVERYTHING that is in the original book will be in the game. I am such a Tintin fan and frankly very excited.
  10. Add me to the list I will not pay for Switch Online. I can't see any reason to join.
  11. I have MAT for the PS2 those are some amazing games. I would love to see them ported.
  12. Also Atari made lots of mistakes, marketing, sound on the console. I like to know who thought 2600 quality sound for 7800 games was a great idea. We see in F18 Hornet and Tower Toppler the 7800 was capable of better graphics than the NES. But no one ever went with that idea.
  13. That Memory Card adapter for the PS3, they went from giving them away to well over $100 these days
  14. This may have started out as a joke post but I would say it is 100% true
  15. I know the 3DO has it's fan base but the sole time I attempted to play it, I hated it from the start. Everything from the controller to the game. Have not touched one since.
  16. Some might recall me posting about a 800XL a friend gave me. It had issues 1st up was it needed cap replacement. A another friend who is a PC Tech offered to do the job, which turned out perfect. It turned on with zero issue, except it goes into Test Mode. I wish I could say the same about the keyboard. We thought it was bad, so later on I went to Ebay and bought a fully reconditioned one. Sadly same issue, we didn't learn until that Midwest Vintage Computer show that it is possibly the POKEY chip that controls the keyboard possibly went bad. Still am not 100% certain. Either way it can play carts, just not anything that requires typing. Then last weekend my PC Tech friend and I went to an estate sale where I picked up a fully working 800XL in perfect condition for $50 As to the 1st one again I am not 100% certain what to do know, and that extra keyboard which we aren't certain if it's 100% or not it fully works. You can see why we are unsure, so right now I am just getting into Atari 8 Bit many carts for now. But I might get eventually one of those modern storage devices so I can play what was originally on floppy.
  17. I finally checked the 1st 800XL yesterday and to my surprise after all we went through it does play carts with zero issues.

  18. Thought I give everyone an update to the Atari 800XL issue. After completely giving up, a friend invited me to come with them to an estate sale where I picked up a 2nd 800XL and when I brought that home it worked perfectly, which I got for $50. Right now I am uncertain what I should do about the 1st 800XL, and extra keyboard. Should I keep for parts or sell.

  19. I wonder how many of you heard the tale of Flipper Zero, they are not the only ones sadly. I have come across some artists and costume makers around 30 of them who have had monies taken out of their PayPal accounts
  20. A while back a friend gave me a 800XL in near perfect condition. When I got a modern power supply and TV hookup. I tried it out, it didn't work. Turned out to be a cap issue, I have this friend who is a PC tech and he agreed to work on it in his spare time. Once that was fixed, the keyboard didn't work right, tried a new mylar, still didn't work right. So eventually I got a refurb keyboard and he tried that. Still didn't work right. It wasn't until the recent Vintage Computer Fair, that we got our answer it might be a bad pokey chip. I bought one of those ps2 keyboard adapters. But when I got home looked at the instructions I realize it's beyond my skill level to install. Also at this point my friends and I just gave up. I haven't tried the game I have for it, I am scared it won't work. Right now I am trying to figure out what to do. It had turned from a fun little project into a money pit.
  21. What you see below is included it's an original Xbox DVD package still factory sealed. Looking for best offer, and Chicago Area Pick Up Only
  22. A friend found a sealed in box Xbox DVD package with 2 games. He wants to sell it.

  23. The 7800 will always hold a special place in my heart. The the NES not only had better graphics but sound as well. The NES sold better because it had more good games.
