Guys, you are all very helpful, and I do appreciate the time taken to reply! I dug out my old Video Cassette Player, and the VC connected to the TV without a problem, and I used the Ataria to be the input into the VC! And presto! It worked! I guess I will end up buying an old CRT tv to be honest, as I don't fancy having to have my VC in-between the Atari and the TV.
Now, flea markets to look for Pac-man, Enduro, River Raid and Smurfs, my favourite games from childhood, as I had to spend a lot of money on the console!
Just another question if I may - mine is a heavy sixer (rounded edges) and it looks in exceptional condition! However, i have a cut-out in the bottom of the Atari to select channels (A/B or 2/3, can't remember which), but upon inspection there's nothing inside the hole...
I read the forum and it seems that this is normal in some heavy sixers.... I am not particularly worried, as the console works OK, but I was just wondering if the Atari might have been manufactured this way, or someone much smarter than me replaced the motherboard (or whatever the insides are called!).
Again, thank you so much for your suggestions!
