  1. Over the summer we had a leak in our basement and the box for my NeoGeo CD and Sega Saturn got destroyed Was a sad day.
  2. GT: mrmiah I just picked up CounterStrike for XBL this weekend. Its $20 new, and $17 used at eb. Having played it a couple times on the PC and getting stomped I figured it was about time I played it where I have a controller and I can stomp somebody for a change =) I really suck with the keyboard/mouse setup of most FPS games. Currently playing on XBL: Halo2, Burnout3, Crimson Skies.
  3. Well, I think its a interesting change from the 'find this guy kill him and take his car'. For anybody that doesn't know. This mission involves you going to the beach, and talking up this girl that has a 'kickin van with huge speakers in it. Your job is to steal the van for OG Loc, so he can throw a good party. You have to talk up the girl that owns the van, then dance with her until she says something about going inside the van and getting a little closer. The dancing works alot like DDR or any of those games, you basically have to hit whatever buttons it asks for, but it only asks for the T,S,X,O buttons which makes it a little easier. Its somewhat tricky and frustrating though as you'll hit the right button when its in the square but it wont say perfect because it wasnt exactly in the middle even though its only in that spot for tenths of a second. =) The LowRider challenges work the same way, except rather than seeing CJ shake his booty, your car bounces, its cool to watch, but when you're playing you're concentrating on the button mashing so much you don't get to see it :/
  4. Heh, when I bought my PS2 the only good games were Oni and Bouncer. Nowadays though.. there are *TONS* of great games for the PS2, not to mention, you can play all those PS1 games on it as well.
  5. my gamertag is: mrmiah I've been playing halo2, and burnout3 on XBL. So many other games taking up my time too though =)
  6. I'm sorry I bought it. Can't get past the f*cking dance mission. I went back to playing Prince of Persia, which I was about halfway through when I got SA. Having much more fun with PoP than with SA, you don't have to do any idiotic dance missions in PoP. -S Those missions can be a bit of a pain. The thing to remember is *dont watch the score* just pay attention to the buttons you're supposed to be hitting and hit them when they're in the middle. I think the only other time you have to do this type of mission is the low-rider contest. The DDR style missions aren't my favorite, but they're interesting. You can go into any of the clubs and dance and 'learn new moves'.
  7. Considering goodwill has their own online auction site, do any goodwill stores actually sell to ebay? It seems like it'd be dumb for them to pay a fee when they have their own internal infrastructure setup to do the same thing. http://www.shopgoodwill.com/ And yes, the prices there suck as well.
  8. You should go read http://man1bank0.com/ Its a long but amusing true story about a guy who cashed a junkmail check for $95,000.
  9. I'd like to see a picture if possible. I may be interested in this if you can get others..
  10. http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/134836.asp $12.99 and its yours.
  11. Looks like they used the wrong pictures, since they list some of the games, and the games as well as the console are obviously different.
  12. The W stood for Winsock? I thought it was "The Ultimate Collection of Windows Software"
  13. It feels like a couple of the big collectors do!
