Is $5.00 a reasonable fee to ship a game?
SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to RCmodeler's topic in Auction Central
If you are looking for a simple answer and if this is for a single game cartridge.... No, that is not reasonable. you asked -
I've said it before.... eBay Folks Make Me Laugh! What are they thinking, all you have to do is type in the game you have and see that there is no way in hell you are getting 25 bucks for Pac-Man or Missile Command. A waste of listing fees for them.

Tony scores a nice lot!

Most would tell you to use a sniper, then it wouldn't matter. I look at it this way, you didn't get it but now you have that 80 some dollars to get that next good BIN. -
That's a unique idea!

If sniper software was heroin, BJK7382 would be a true addict. I have seen more about sniper stuff in your posts than anywhere else on the net. To each his own but I prefer the old fashion way, you will never see "youpaymybills" using a sniper. LOL, Ive sniped your ass sooo many times;) Yeah, to resell?
-
Whats the difference from sniping software as compared to a 2600 (hardware)? I see it as being fair, it just puts my max bid in 6 seconds before the auction ends. 6 seconds!!!??? I can do better than that the "old fashion" way if I put a little effort in it. I know nothing about Sniper stuff but that doesn't sound very fool-proof to me. Other than, you wouldn't have to be on the net when the auction ends but if you can't be there when it ends....you don't deserve it anyhow! IMHO..

I noticed that PELE'S too, can't wait to get the games and check them out. But, I am trying to save money so am having buyer's remorse right now and when my wife sees......LOOK OUT. I know....I'm whipped. But when she whips me....I kinda like it.....

Yes, way too high. But, I liked the label so oh well. Maybe my broken Atari crap can help pay for it.
-
Now, what can I sell to pay for it?

I'm in the dark as usual, what's with the silver label hangman? Newly discovered or what? NTSC for sure?

So, you can fix Paddle Controllers huh?
SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Yeah, that is true, but there have other way without brown paper. You can revese the box backward, so that way not noticed "Priority mail" I show you two pictures (before and after) What about the USPS printed over and over on the box. My local post office employees would laugh at me and throw that package right back in my face if I tried that scam. Why do you think they print the "USPS" on the reverse......nope, they don't like that. That would actually be a good way to have your package "lost in the mail" or possibly screwed with my customs. I don't recommend that at all!! -
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...9&category=3528 $20 shipping. I hate when people do that and I'm not one of those people who have a fit if it's like a couple dollars over but $20? They should just have a reasonable S&H and have a higher BIN....seems more honest somehow.

wrapping things in brown paper scares me. Think about it, if that paper gets a rip and somehow gets torn off, then what? Even if the postal service wanted to figure it out (which they wouldn't) they couldn't! There would be no address because it would either be written on or taped on the brown paper that is who knows wear. I guess if you taped the hell out of it, that might work. -

Yeah for USA, but for Canada, use Airmail No, the box is the problem, not the service. The post office won't let you send Priority mail boxes outside the U.S. ! You never thought about one thing........if the box saying "Priority mail", one simple thing to do is just wrapped up the box with brown paper, that way will not noticed "priority mail".....then bring to the post office and ask for airmail to Canada, so they will not noticed "priority mail" on the box. Alright, Alright.....the truth is that I just don't like you Canadians.....with your Molson beer, Tim Horton donuts and the "eh's". Also, I think you people have milk that comes IN A BAG. WTF? Just Kidding......my wife is Canadian.....I met her on an internet chat and we've been married about 5 years now. -

SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Sorry bro, I would have never thought you would need such a thing. Like you said though, too late. I packed it all up already and it's ready to go. Otherwise they would have been yours. -

SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
They are bad man! I mean, the little ring or whatever that is usually where the joystick part goes into the controller is either missing totally or corroded looking. Also, some of the joystick parts are bent. They are in poor shape but then again, I think everything is in poor shape unless it works and looks great. -
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...egory=3537&rd=1 Really though, this is it. I know I am going crazy here with all of the broken stuff but this is the end of the line. I have it all listed now I think. Anyway, check this one out!

Why wouldn't it be? I think that is funny when Canadians think they are part of the U.S. You guys still live in a different country, eh? Seriously though, the items are already all packaged up in a Priority Mail box and that cannot be sent to Canada so this is U.S. only. -
