eBay Folks Make Me Laugh.
SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Auction Central
They probably just left out the "ORDER". They want you to pay with money order I believe but this in no way justifies the rusty springs auction. Nope, there is no excuse for that. -
Wouldn't it be nice if the Spectra games had a "P" on the end like Obelix if the game was PAL. I wonder if they manufactured the NTSC games and the PAL games at the same place? Wonder if they ever got mixed up if so. Just a thought.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...9&category=3528 I just saw this.... It seems that $14.99 was too low for this treasure, had to bump it up another $10.00.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5&category=3528 $24.99!! I have like 6 of these things and couldn't get $5 BIN on them, I will be pissed if this actually gets a BIN. IMHO, this person's prices are outrageous on everything... http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View...&sort=3&rows=50

What is the worst seller feedback you've seen?

That's absurd! Their is no reason that person should still be registered, I am not sure what the rule is but it must be silly if this is allowed to go on and still be registered. I guess they have to screw a few more people before they get kicked. -

Same Seller, check this out...... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=2572077329 WTF? -
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5&category=4315 People on eBay are funny...... Also, these are the "most sought out" games but since you have to pay with money, I will have to pass.
-
I hear ya, I am happy with whatever the auction ends at. Mainly, I bought these when they had a bunch of games and bargained enough so that the system was free and I just resold the games. These are basically just extra "stuff" that is leftover. I have a bunch of broken Atari's to do now. I will have to wait until tomorrow and will probably throw them up on eBay too. ONE IS A BIG SEXY TOO! Needs some work though.

The power adaptor is huge and while I don't know about volts, it is very different than the 2600. But.... the AC isn't the big concern although you will need it, the system has nowhere to plug it into. The AC on a 4 port plugs into the 5200 RF Switch Box which is mandatory on this system. Anyway, all of this in consideration, I am asking only $7 just to move it on out of here.
-
"Free" - Not familiar with that word unless I am the recipient. First one to PM for $7 plus the actual shipping gets it, PAYPAL ONLY PLEASE. Keep in mind that I don't know if it works since I don't have any of the accessories. And, I searched for an AC and I only found one to go with a 2-port that I just posted on eBay..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...egory=3537&rd=1 So this is the system only. Oh yeah, it does still have the plastic on the silver strip so that's something I guess.

Who owns Tigervisions collections (NTSC owners only)
SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to smile_walle's topic in Rarity Guide
POLARIS - Green End w/ Instructions KING KONG with Instructions THRESHOLD with Instructions MINER 2049'ER with Instructions I can be quite certain that I will never own a River Patrol but would love to get Marauder, Espial and Miner II with Instructions of course. Oh Yeah, you may have read some of my other posts that I have to sell all of my games.....I am happy to say that I can hold off on that and hopefully come up with the cash so that won't be necessary. -

http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?...d=buckeyecomics Here's a loser for ya! The amazing thing is....they are still registered with eBay. -
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3058340621 I am beginning to list all of my extra gaming stuff that has been laying around here. I am moving soon and need to get rid of it. Here is all of my ugly NES stuff that I have accumulated and all for an opening bid of $1. I don't know how to do that pin connector thing and to be honest, don't have the time or patience. So, check it out if you are into this sort of thing.

I thought the little "part number" in the lower right corner of the top label on SpectraVideo games tells whether the game is PAL or NTSC. For instance, take Bumper Bash... I have an NTSC version and the part number is: "SA 218" I believe that the PAL version has a "C" after the 8. GAS HOG = "SA 217" MASTER BUILDER = SA 210" These are the rare SpectraVideo games that I have and maybe I am wrong about the numbers but I really think that a PAL Bumper Bash has an extra letter at the end. Anyone??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...6&category=3528 I hate when people quote from AA as to the rarity of a game and then choose to exagerate it. I guess it could be an honest mistake.... I don't know, that "9" next to WaterWorld is plain as day to me on the site....this guy sees it as a "10".

By the way, I used to live in Central PA....Lebanon which is near Hershey. You wouldn't believe all of the Atari items I found at sales there. Unfortunately, I wasn't a collector at that time and sold everything on eBay under the name(S)... mr.noreserve outofstep and a couple others I can't even remember. CENTRAL PA Rocks for Atari games!
-
Cool!
-
OK, what did I buy from you and what bill did you pay when you got my payment? Fess up buddy!
-
With my Atari habits.....I have paid more bills for other people than I care to discuss.
