Popeye Spinach Can Scratch Game? Parker Brothers!
SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Atari 2600
Totally agreed! Really, this is not perfect even though it is rather unique. I don't know the staple thing kind of sucks but that is how it was saved with the instructions. I just took it out so it didn't rust the paper any more than it already has. But, a winner would have been really nice and to find an unscratched one may be close to the same as finding a boxed Chuck Wagon or similar. Not very possible. But, still it is cool! I like that you can still see the part that hasn't been scratched yet......just enough to see you lost. Sucks for them, cool for me 20 years later!!!! -

Popeye Spinach Can Scratch Game? Parker Brothers!
SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Atari 2600
WOW! That is better and you can even see where the rusty staple that I was talking about is. Still, it is neat and has so much small print on the back. Honestly, I will take any offers, just PM me. Trades.....welcome! I don't know, maybe I will keep it. -

One More Feedback For 666!
SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Auction Central
Honestly, I do agree. And, I am very thankful. I just sold a ToeJam & Earl Sega Genesis game that you can see in my auctions now for Sega Genesis and I sold it untested and I believe got $14.00. The person said it worked and everything like that and they were new and I like I said, I sold it As-Is, just because I have no Genesis. Anyway, they thought it was the original first version of ToeJam and I had the Panic On Funkotron and even showed the pic but they were not happy. Long story short (even though this is long now), they returned and I refunded through PayPal refund link so you get the fee back.....did you know that? But, I relisted it when I received it back and it is now up to $11.00 and notice that the game is magically tested now. I just have to believe the people but I have said it before, I am too trusting I guess. But, I love eBay and Atari! But what the F*ck with the delay on things showing up in search. I know it is in other postings but this sucks, really! Fix that shit eBay!!!! PS. They said that nasty poopy word that I just said above on the A&E Comedy special I watched last night. I am going to bring this up in the Off-Topic place. I can't believe it. I think Drew Carey was one of the one's to say it and a couple others I think, it was unusual but welcome I guess. -
Popeye Spinach Can Scratch Game? Parker Brothers!
SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Atari 2600
The back of the card has this at the bottom of the endless small print.... "1983 Ventura Associates Inc." I am going to try to scan this and add it but the site usually says my scans are "too big" or something. How do I fix this? PM me or just reply here I guess. Maybe I can get this scan to work since it is so small. This is a neat thing though, I would love to know where it originated. "Requests must be received by July 31, 1984" -
WTF? eBay needs to hire some more people to "scout" the listings. All the money they make, they can afford it....don't you think? As for the individual, get a life! I hope if the person actually pays for this (which I doubt), they sue them and make the person's life a living hell. I hate this person and everyone else who tries to "pull a fast one" on eBay. Truly, these people make me sick and are an embarrassment to real eBay sellers like myself and many of you that I have come to know.

Popeye Spinach Can Scratch Game? Parker Brothers!
SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Atari 2600
Yeah, it is neat. I since removed the rusty staple and have the scratch off seperate and protected for now. I like it a lot even though it is a loser. I love instructions and stuff like this. I also saw the McDonald's atari things on eBay, they were really neat too! I wish I would have won those. I wonder how you got this game piece? Is their a place on AA for scratch-off games like this or anything similar It must be Atari related. -
Check this out, I found it with Popeye instructions for the 2600 recently. It was stapled on the back and I have shown a picture. It looks like a scratch game and is marked with "Parker Brothers". I thought it was neat since I haven't seen one before. You could win a TEE-SHIRT for three Musical Notes or Three Hearts for a FULL SIZE POPEYE ARCADE MACHINE! As you may be able to see with my crappy picture, this one has two Musical Notes and one Heart. Cool find for my collection though!

Is this a repro of Crazy Climber?
SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to Gregory DG's topic in Auction Central
How many repro's of CC do you think are out there? And, yes, I am too trusting I guess. -
Is this a repro of Crazy Climber?
SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to Gregory DG's topic in Auction Central
I think this is the real deal. Three things lead me to believe this. 1. Feedback is Great 2. He lives in Pennsylvania (I was born and lived in PA up until two years ago. There are a lot of "vintage" video games there with a lot of Atari. I have had many Obelix's, Quadrun, CommaVid games and many rare ones! 3. He has a couple other Atari games including a CommaVid and I don't think these would be repro's too. -
The tension is mounting......

Has anyone ever responded to a Spoof email from ebay?
SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to bjk7382's topic in Auction Central
My step-dad fell for that email and they emptied his bank account. No joke, it sucks. I also get these emails but simply block them and then delete. My step-dad got everything back and disputed everything but the people even used his eBay account to start listing items, I think he had a couple cameras for sale or something like that. I just recently got one that said my eBay account was suspended and that I had to re-activate it by "logging in" and "verifying" my information. These people should be dragged into the street by their toenails and shot. Simple as that. -
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3054110576 Was Video Cube really never sold in stores like Rick states? I really thought this was available, maybe not right when the game came out but it did show up in stores, right?

Tested and Working, Nice Cosemetic Condition. The game does not photograph well and my camera does not do close-ups well as you can see. The blur is just the camera. I have done my best to represent the cartridge and showed it playing on my 7800. The $90 includes Priority Mail and Tracking, Insurance is available at your cost. And, PayPal Only on this one. Also, the number thing in the lower right corner is: "SA 218" so it is NTSC. I believe their is a "C" in there somewhere on the pal games. PM me. This game has been sold, thanks!

Worlds Largest Atari 2600 lot Yeah Right!!!
SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to homerwannabee's topic in Auction Central
That is ridiculous. I have to say that the new sellers popping up on eBay are a real fu**ing joke. I can hardly stand it. Honestly, I am a weird person and am like Mr. Antisocial so I guess my thoughts don't mean much but I never realized how many idiots are out there until I started dealing with eBay in 1999. It is really amazing. This person could just be making a joke or somthing but in general, their are a lot of silly people out there that make no sense to me. How do these people slide by? -
I am fairly new here and have no idea what the problem is so I shouldn't even be commenting, I'm sure you'll agree. But it seems that you guys should just whip it out and get the measuring stick so this can be settled. What is the problem with JagWarlord selling something of his own? Anyone that has a problem with him selling something out of his collection is a fascist pig who has nothing better to do then meddle in other's affairs. Get a life! Now how about that for not having any idea what you guys are talking about.

13-Year-Old Jack Black was in ATARI Commercial!
SpendTooMuchOnAtari replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Atari 2600
But the REAL question, does Jack play Atari? I know who cares but I am a fan of the man, he makes me smile and I jump all over that when it happens. Really though, that would be cool if he was a collector or something, maybe he is a member here in disguise. Just a thought! -
Was it the "Real Doll" that was sold here? As seen on the Howard Stern show. That is why this is such a big secret, it's OK guys....we understand. I think the website is realdoll.com - hope you got a good deal! Yes, I am twisted.
-
Ahhhhh, I have been misled this whole time. I really thought that was the criteria for cool. I have a lot of changes to make now, I better get on it.
