  1. I am fairly new here and have no idea what the problem is so I shouldn't even be commenting, I'm sure you'll agree. But it seems that you guys should just whip it out and get the measuring stick so this can be settled. What is the problem with JagWarlord selling something of his own? Anyone that has a problem with him selling something out of his collection is a fascist pig who has nothing better to do then meddle in other's affairs. Get a life! Now how about that for not having any idea what you guys are talking about. :P

  2. I just got my DVD today although won't be able to watch it until tomorrow. Going out tonight but it looks cool and it came fast. I look forward to viewing it and posting any thoughts I have about it. If anyone else gets it, let us know what you think when you watch it. :)

  3. Was it the "Real Doll" that was sold here? As seen on the Howard Stern show. That is why this is such a big secret, it's OK guys....we understand. :D I think the website is realdoll.com - hope you got a good deal!

    Yes, I am twisted.

  4. It doesn't have to be ULTRA EXPENSIVE or in HIGH demand to be cool.

    Adam

Ahhhhh, I have been misled this whole time. I really thought that was the criteria for cool. 8) I have a lot of changes to make now, I better get on it.

  5. This is going to sound silly from the start but I was reading a STAR Magazine dated October 28th while eating my breakfast this morning just for something to look at....my wife gets these as an impulse buy in line at the store. Anyway, on page 56 there is a little quote from each star and while I have not seen School Of Rock yet, I am a long time Jack Black fan. I will quote from the star below,

"I knew if my friends saw me on TV, it would be the answer to all my prayers.  Because then they would have to worship me and everyone would know I was awesome." - actor JACK BLACK on appearing in an Atari TV ad at age 13.

I wish I could see this commerical. I do know that their are auctions on eBay with commercials and by the way, I can't wait to get the Once Upon Atari DVD in the mail. :D

  6. Private Message if interested in anything please.

Hey Everyone! I have some duplicates and just don't have the room to let anything pile up around here, the wife won't tolerate it. Either in my collection or in someone else's but not sitting on the "sell" shelf for later. So, I will continue to update this list and I am just going to start at my asking prices because "email me with offer" never works out well. And, if you need pictures, I am happy to email a scan but I can't post scans here because the site always says it's too big. I will describe briefly and S&H can be worked out, probably $1.50 for a single game First Class although Priority is nice because it will go in a box. $3.85 for Priority and not much more for multiple games. PayPal always welcome, PM me.

  7. I got it today in the mail and it has quickly became my "most-prized" Atari posession right now. I agree that I would probably get rid of this last if I was selling any of my collection at any time. This doesn't even look washed or worn, it is like new and awesome! I have said before that I rarely get the good BIN's but this was a good find at a good price for a regular auction. While I agree it is not as well known or as desireable, this has to be as rare or rarer than for instance the WaterWorld cartridge. I know this is for FireWorld but how many of these shirts are still floating around, not many I don't think. I would love to find the EarthWorld shirt too!

  8.

Hello there, this IS Howard Scott Warshaw.

    HSWhttp://www.scottw.com

Well, I wasn't the one that started this thread but certainly was in the discussion and watching this from the beginning. Also watched the DVD that was on eBay by the guy who reviewed it and I read the entire review. Just so everyone and Mr. Warshaw knows, I too ordered this just now. Just about 3 minutes ago actually over the phone with my CC. I can afford it and I think it is neat, I said about $30 - $35 would be nice in a previous post a couple days ago if I remember and now it is about the 30 and with the S&H it comes to just under 35! Great!! Well, thank you for the hard work and I truly look forward to viewing the DVD when it comes. I ask the lady on the phone but who better to ask than you, how long does it take since I just ordered tonight? Thanks!! :D

  9. I went to sales this weekend and found a bunch of good stuff including Atari. A unique discovery which may be nothing is a Tele-Games cartridge that I got with a "heavy-tele-sixer" system. The game is Target Fun and while unfortunately the end label was missing when I found it, the label is clearly overtop another label and the one corner has a little peel so I looked underneath and it is an Atari text label for sure. I can see where the "g" stars for game program in the upper left. Is that common? First time I have seen that. I have no idea what actual label is underneath but the game clearly is Target Fun because I tested it.

On another note, my finds this weekend for Atari include a 5200 James Bond 007 cart only for $2 and a complete Sears Tele-Games system which has Sunnyvale on the bottom and is heavy with about 8 games including the above mentioned for $20. So, what about the game, is that label over stuff common or desireable. I never heard of it.

  10. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3053638887

OK, the above auction is mine and I am not listing it here to get bids or anything but just to ask if my S&H is unreasonable. Keep in mind that if the First Class is around the same price, it would go that way. Just wondering what you guys think. Be honest, it doesn't bother me at all. I have been doing eBay pretty much the same way since 1999. Not under the same name but....let me know.

  11. but they sell millions of copies!  Yeah, at $18 bucks they are still making a killing.  But you're comparing a company that sells millions of DVDs to a company that probably won't sell 1000 copies!  Think about all the time & expenses involved in creating the content of this DVD alone and not just the production cost of a single DVD!

I understand all that and am willing to pay more than a regular "studio" DVD but not that much more! Maybe $30.00 - $35.00 would be nice. Anyway, has anyone seen it?
