  1. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3559730981 The category of the eBay Auction Central says "Strange, Stupid, Amazing" and all that. Well, this person is Stupid!!! A dutch auction for 8 games? What about when someone wants the same one as someone else. Silly people!
  2. I wish I wasn't broke too, JagWarlord just sold me a Jaguar system and SSX3 just came out so I have to go get that as well. Sounds like a great deal though, someone should jump all over this.
  3. This is going to sound silly from the start but I was reading a STAR Magazine dated October 28th while eating my breakfast this morning just for something to look at....my wife gets these as an impulse buy in line at the store. Anyway, on page 56 there is a little quote from each star and while I have not seen School Of Rock yet, I am a long time Jack Black fan. I will quote from the star below, I wish I could see this commerical. I do know that their are auctions on eBay with commercials and by the way, I can't wait to get the Once Upon Atari DVD in the mail.
  4. I started a WTF topic once. I think this is the first problem: People are so funny! I love eBay though!
  5. Private Message if interested in anything please. Hey Everyone! I have some duplicates and just don't have the room to let anything pile up around here, the wife won't tolerate it. Either in my collection or in someone else's but not sitting on the "sell" shelf for later. So, I will continue to update this list and I am just going to start at my asking prices because "email me with offer" never works out well. And, if you need pictures, I am happy to email a scan but I can't post scans here because the site always says it's too big. I will describe briefly and S&H can be worked out, probably $1.50 for a single game First Class although Priority is nice because it will go in a box. $3.85 for Priority and not much more for multiple games. PayPal always welcome, PM me. ATARI 2600 OMEGA RACE with Instructions - Cart label shows wear with some staining otherwise intact, instructions in good shape, all pages intact with ben on cover which is now flat. 6. I also have many and a Pioneer player which I would like to sell.
  7. I got it today in the mail and it has quickly became my "most-prized" Atari posession right now. I agree that I would probably get rid of this last if I was selling any of my collection at any time. This doesn't even look washed or worn, it is like new and awesome! I have said before that I rarely get the good BIN's but this was a good find at a good price for a regular auction. While I agree it is not as well known or as desireable, this has to be as rare or rarer than for instance the WaterWorld cartridge. I know this is for FireWorld but how many of these shirts are still floating around, not many I don't think. I would love to find the EarthWorld shirt too!
  8. Well, I wasn't the one that started this thread but certainly was in the discussion and watching this from the beginning. Also watched the DVD that was on eBay by the guy who reviewed it and I read the entire review. Just so everyone and Mr. Warshaw knows, I too ordered this just now. Just about 3 minutes ago actually over the phone with my CC. I can afford it and I think it is neat, I said about $30 - $35 would be nice in a previous post a couple days ago if I remember and now it is about the 30 and with the S&H it comes to just under 35! Great!! Well, thank you for the hard work and I truly look forward to viewing the DVD when it comes. I ask the lady on the phone but who better to ask than you, how long does it take since I just ordered tonight? Thanks!!
  9. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...6&category=4315 Read the description! HA HA HA. Not sure if this was in another thread but I searched the web address and beat em and eat em and nothing showed up. I thought it was an interesting comparison to the tooth protectors which I do not own at the time although got this game complete and like new for under 50 bucks.
  10. No One?! Hey now, nobody has heard of this or are ya just ignoring me. CPU? SKU? Someone has to have something to say.
  11. I went to sales this weekend and found a bunch of good stuff including Atari. A unique discovery which may be nothing is a Tele-Games cartridge that I got with a "heavy-tele-sixer" system. The game is Target Fun and while unfortunately the end label was missing when I found it, the label is clearly overtop another label and the one corner has a little peel so I looked underneath and it is an Atari text label for sure. I can see where the "g" stars for game program in the upper left. Is that common? First time I have seen that. I have no idea what actual label is underneath but the game clearly is Target Fun because I tested it. On another note, my finds this weekend for Atari include a 5200 James Bond 007 cart only for $2 and a complete Sears Tele-Games system which has Sunnyvale on the bottom and is heavy with about 8 games including the above mentioned for $20. So, what about the game, is that label over stuff common or desireable. I never heard of it.
  12. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3053638887 OK, the above auction is mine and I am not listing it here to get bids or anything but just to ask if my S&H is unreasonable. Keep in mind that if the First Class is around the same price, it would go that way. Just wondering what you guys think. Be honest, it doesn't bother me at all. I have been doing eBay pretty much the same way since 1999. Not under the same name but....let me know.
  13. I have Pole Position in a XE casing with a silver label. Haven't seen one before.
  14. I understand all that and am willing to pay more than a regular "studio" DVD but not that much more! Maybe $30.00 - $35.00 would be nice. Anyway, has anyone seen it?
  15. I am guilty of forgetting to change my eBay signature template thingy that I use on my auctions. Sometimes, I fix the price but leave the Media Mail. I ship First Class even if it is a little more....sometimes it is only 10 cents difference. It is really nice that the postal service made that change, a great improvement!
  16. Here is a typical S&H profit for me. Usually a small Media Mail package like a video or a game or maybe even a couple games can be sent for $1.42 and I charge $2.50 but I do buy the envelopes, bubble wrap, tape, labels, boxes etc... which may not be all used on this package but the trip to Staples or Office Max every once in awhile hurts. But like someone said, you do take on the responsibility when you list it and you shouldn't charge for every little thing, also I disagree with the "hidden" S&H charges, that is absurd! I would rather take a massive loss than tell someone to pay more after the price was either stated or told to them. Anyway, I don't think I even covered any costs with listings on an auction like described there. I usually gallery so that is 55 cents to list then the Final Value then most people are doing PayPal these days so there is 30 cents or whatever plus the percentage and I am only a little over a dollar with the handling. Oh well, I guess I don't even overcharge as much as I thought I did. I don't like to go much under $2.00 S&H on anything though. Unless it can be sent in a regular envelope or something. Just my thoughts because I'm bored right now. Sorry if you read all the way down to here, I am rambling today!!
  17. IMO - In my opinion IMHO - In my humble opinion AFAIK - As far as I know (I think) IIRC - If I recall correctly BTW - By the way SUJBYJ - Shut up Joey Bastard You Jackass Great! Thanks a lot Joey! Also, I just want to be clear that I think the guy is nuts with charging that much. That is ripping people off for real! What an ass!
  18. I don't think I really rip people off but I do add a handling fee to my auctions. I am not ashamed to admit that I try to cover the bubble wrap, envelopes, boxes if not Priority and some of the nasty fees that it cost me to sell the item....not the whole thing, just some. For instance, I try to get around $1.00 - $1.50 extra depending but it is always in the auction so everyone can plainly see before they bid. Sometimes I sell stuff that I know I won't make much on too but this way, the people have the choice of getting something if they need it since while they may not realize it, they are helping me pay the fee to list it. If you have a store, you have to account for your overhead when you put the prices on stuff. I even see someplaces that will charge you 30 cents or 35 cents to use a Debit card...like a gas station or something. But, I am in Phoenix and it's weird some places. I don't know but do know this.... THE WORST THING ABOUT EBAY IS PACKING STUFF UP AND GOING TO THE POST OFFICE! So, at least help pay some of those PayPal and eBay fees....those kill!!
  19. Totally not on topic but I still don't know what "IMO" means. There was another I didn't know too that had an A in it or something. I am just not up on chat, this is the only place I go other than eBay.
  20. http://www.scottw.com/ There ya go, got an extra 50 bucks?
  21. No worries, I truly am spending too much on Atari. Just last night, I got a Sir Lancelot single cart only which maybe I paid too much for but that makes 3 XONOX singles. I got to chill out, I don't think I will be bidding anymore on the complete Waterworld. I have the cart already but I just have to have the other stuff. The kids are now playing Pooyan after having a Marine Wars "war". Cool!
