    If it offends you, throw it out. If it really bothers you that much send it back to him. You pushing your anti-religion views on us makes you no better than the guy who sent the pamphlet. This is why discussions of religion are always bad.

     

    Get a life buddy and don't click on the link if you don't like religion discussions. Actually, the last pic I posted in this topic is for you....save it for a screen saver.

     

    Bet most of you hate me now...... :P

     

    I still love you all though, Atari Age forum is awesome but that doesn't change the fact that religion is silly. And, telling me to throw the game out just proves my theory that anyone defending religion is as much of a joke as the religion itself.

    Bro, you're not alone, I get that stuff all the time with my purchases and it bugs the hell out of me as well (so would Satan brochures mind you). I don't want any crap I didn't ask for.  :x

     

    Note to self: Nix the extra $20's I was going to include with CPU's package.

    With your next payment, send either a link or a printed pamphlet from one of the American Atheists sites.  :D  

     

    It would bug me too, but as long as it's not jacking up the price of shipping and everything else is as it should be,  I'd probably get over it.

     

    I'm definately over it but it's cool to see most of you guys agree with me. Just thought it was an interesting topic to see what response it brought. But, like I said, I left positive feedback and really have no problem but I do think it sucks to send religious propaganda with your packages.

    I received a game not to long ago that was wrapped up in a newspaper color advertisement: 5 pages of Bra 's.

     

    Don't know what the seller was pushing but I didn't mind looking thru the wrapping paper  :D

    :lolblue: I notice that sometime when I pack stuff up to send because I also use newspaper. I mainly use the Sunday paper with all of the ads and I always think it is funny when I pack items in underwear advertisements or whatever. I actually remember in the past, putting them on top....just for fun. :)

    Yep, if you got your stuff as promised, I don't think you can complain too much about anything extra thrown in (unless it's a severed head or something).

    I know, I can't really complain too much but if I included a pamphlet with my auctions that had a dead rose on it and up above it said, "You're Confused" and then went on and on inside about how religion is a joke, I bet I would get quite a few emails.

    Ok, I know I just posted something and I am just a big complainer. But, right after I opened my Amidar game, I opened the next package which was a Cosmic Swarm with the instructions....some of you saw that I won this. Anwyay, the package was sent First Class which is fine but they did not protect the instructions well at all. Major curling of all the corners and some bends due to the fact it had no cardboard or anything. And, while the cart label isn't that bad, it certainly does not look as nice in person as the pic. Oh well, I just feel like complaining this morning. But, I did get a common Lynx game in the mail which was new and in excellent shape.

    I am adding this because I want to make it clear that I have nothing against people who choose religion. That's your thing and more power to you. However, I think it is silly and just don't want it to be pushed towards me....the way I felt when I opened up my Amidar package this afternoon.

    Ok, I recently bought a fairly common game for the 2600 with the instructions....but I needed it and the price was right with the S&H....

    Now, I got the game in the mail just about 10 minutes ago and it is great, the game plays perfectly, the label is good to very good as is the manual. But, I noticed another piece of paper in with my items...it has a pink rose on it and up above it says, "You're Special". I'm thinking, "what the hell is this". First off, I guess I should back up and say that I am not Mr. Satan worshipper or anything :evil: but I do not like religion at all. I think there might be something "out there" somewhere but I am not going to label it and live my life the way "it" wants me to. Religion is a scam and that is just the way it is...an invention long ago to "keep people in line". Not the point though...

     

    I do not routinely preach my views, I know I just did but that is for the behalf of my complaint. I would never think of putting an anti-religion pamphlet in with the packages I send people. Of course, I will leave positive feedback and I am happy with the game but...

     

    JESUS STUFF WITH MY EBAY PURCHASE? :?

    Why can't they take care of this with all of the people that I am sure are complaining to eBay and sending all the email headers and everything. It is out of hand. I know the game and never reply to such silly emails asking for anything or having a link to input your info. But, I will say that my step-dad fell for it and they got to his credit card which was attached to his bank account....well, you can imagine the fun from there. Financially, in the end, everything was OK. But, boy what a pain in the ass and if you don't check your accounts (bank,credit,eBay) often, you could be screwed! Those people make me sick! :x

    Hello, I need an Audio Video cable which I believe Jaguar calls the Composite Cable. I see that there are some on ebay but have a long time to go and my system should be here soon. Anyone have an extra or any of you one of the seller's of these on eBay. Let me know, thankI do see the one for $15 BIN but that is like half of what I paid for the system, three games and all of the boxes.

    There are now 2 more Britney fart auctions... one is at $7 and the 2nd one claims the $7 one is a fake and people shouldn't bid on it because the seller was not in New York the day Britney cut loose.

    in all seriousness, if the buyer dosnt pay (wait, i mean when he dosnt pay) and the seller press legal charges lke sue the guy? if so, i will pay 100 dollars to get into that court room

    To end early to the high bidder this is a legally bound agreement between the seller & buyer so it would be wrong to encourage them to break it.

     

    I never did understand the "legally bound" thing. I have people not pay for auctions all the time but what can I do about it. Get their phone number from eBay, post negative feedback for them, send a silly email telling them what a jerk they are....none of these has a positive outcome so what about the legal thing?

    Hey, do you guys/gals think I should try selling the Intellivision/Atari system changer thing on eBay by itself or throw it in with the system and games? You don't see many on eBay right now for the changer and I am thinking that someone might want it that already has a system. I don't know what to do. Suggestions? :)

    I got an Intellivision II system with the Atari System Changer thingy and about 10 games with the boxes and everything for $10.00. He was asking $15.00 but I got him down. 8)

     

    Pretty good deal, now I just have to test it out and throw it up on eBay. :D
