  1. this is actually a relist of the same game that did not meet his reserve, last time it was listed:

    http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...item=3047411699

funny how last time, his description said it was PAL format.  in this new listing, he seems to have forgotten to mention that fact.  i wonder if he is hoping to meet his reserve this time by omitting that important piece of information.

 What an ass! I can't believe they are trying to pass it off as NTSC when they clearly know it is PAL as we can all see from the last listing. I don't want to seem like a jerk but that pisses me off!

    Don't shop here! http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View...&sort=3&rows=50

  2. I just found a Homeworld PC CD-ROM game in excellent condition with the original jewel case and artwork, Homeworld Quick Refernce Card, Homeworld Historick And Technical Brifing Book (115 pages) and the

Prima's Official Strategy Guide which has 161 pages and originally sold for 20 bucks just by itself.

Came across this while looking for the instructions I have up now and don't need it....PM me with an offer. And, a pic is available upon request.

  3.

Only the original heavy sixer was manufactured in Sunnyvale.  i have one that was manufactured overseas.

The Sunnyvale 6er is the cream of the crop. :D

So, if it has the word "Sunnyvale" on the sticker than it is made there? Mine has "MFG. by Atari, INC Sunnyvale, CA". It is definately heavier with the distinctive casing.

  4. he does appear to have a Heavy Sixer there and with a fairly low SN on it too...

I don't think that serial # is very low...at least, not as I understand the serial number format on heavy-sixers. It's actually quite high--(U).

I didn't realize that but now it makes sense. So, this could be the first one "00001 A" Well, I guess mine isn't that low either than with the H.

  5. Be that as it may...he does appear to have a Heavy Sixer there and with a fairly low SN on it too...

    :D

I didn't even notice the low SN, but then I got mine out. I have one that doesn't work too well but could be repaired by someone more knowledgable than me :) It's in pretty nice cosmetic condition, just needs cleaned. Anyway mine is 16796 H and is a white label.

  6. It's no different physically from any of the others other than the piping though.

Weight and the front is more curved if that makes sense. The part that shapes like a long u in the front of the system where the wood is, that part is different. Also, it is older than the rest! :)

Collectors would usually take one of these over another if given a choice. 8)

  9. If I saw that at a sale and not even knowing for sure that the system didn't work but of course assuming it did not. I would pay no more than $15 as I would only buy it for resale. The S&H is what kills on most system auctions for the buyer. But, I don't know how to repair those darn things. I have many, many "broken" Atari's including a Heavy Sixer!

  10. Hold it up to a bright light and read its conten....oh wait, thats an envelope.....uhh nevermind

Nothing to do with this but the breakpack guy's avatar is his Smackdown character which looks like him. That's crazy! :D

  11. Of course, the double-ender cart is a giveaway for most collectors, but many people probably wouldn't think to ask about the X-Man cart.

    ..Al

I see some weird carts from Brazil...all of that Dactar stuff and everything. But, that X-Man could pass for the real deal if you didn't know (like me). I am learning everyday though. :)
