Doesnt it seem strange in the high definition world of xbox one, ps4 and wii u, that we are here droolong over millipede for the 7800? We can only hope that its for real, but it probably isnt. I have been playing it on the 2600 plugged into my 7800 and I still think its an amazingly fast game that holds together really well, whereas my Wii U stutters and staggers through cut sequences on pikmin 3. My modded 7800 is amazing. The picture is way bettter than my modded 2600, and the joystick ports and difficulty switches on the front make like so much easier for an old duffer like me. Yeah I agree get it modded, you wont regret it. And mine is a PAL too!

I recently bought a 7800 console online, which has been modded as I didnt want to crucify my original 7800 console. But I have noticed a difference in the faceplate design. My original from 1986 has a raised holographic style Atari logo which looks quite stunning, however, this latest console has just grey print on it. Has anyone else noticed this. Is it a late run or something. The picture is stunning on it and it works flawlessly unlike my original in which there were always picture problems.

Firstly, I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but I could'nt find any mention of it in the forums. The cx80 trak ball, apart from missile command tb, has there been any other hacks for the trak ball? Centipede and Millipede being the obvious chioices. Missile Command is fantastic with the trak ball, imagine the others too! How hard would it be to reprogram these favourites? thank you for your time and happy Atari gaming to you all.

I think the wii u is a great console, it has amazing graphics and sound, is wii backwards compatible and has some very good games. On the downside, I think the controller should have a much bigger screen and has long startup time, even after the quick start screen. Great games are mario 3d world, pikmin and zelda. I dont think this console gets fair press coverage. 9/10.

The correct drivers are installed. There is no sign of anything in the usb dialog box within hardware profiles. The sd card is working and downloading files with no problem and the cart appears to be working, just cannot swap over to pal as the computers wont recognise the cart.

I am having trouble with my new cartridge. I cannot change over to Pal. I have downloaded the usb software on 2 different computers running Windows XP Both refuse to acknowledge the cartridge. The cartridge works in my 2600 but the colours are garbled and the screen rolls. I have also been able to put games onto the sd card succesfully, but simply cannot get my computers to see the cartridge. Its asthough the usb is completely dead or invisible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
