does anyone here have the everdrive gba x5?

I am thinking of getting one of these. The original DMG game boy was the first game boy that I owned around 1992. This screen looks amazing. Any thoughts?

I don't know about that. On the right games, the gameboy graphics look far superior to me (albeit monochrome) than anything on the NES. Nemesis is one example of superior graphics in my mind at least.

Its amazing to me that these fantastic machines only go for $30. I've definitely got my $30 worth out of it.

I purchased the 600xl for $149 from JC Penney in 1983 as a Christmas present. To a highschool freshman 16K seemed like enough ram for BASIC programming and playing carts. A few years ago I bought it again with a Sio2pc-USB. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Hello, I am a new Genesis II owner (less than a year) I read this post and anxiously turned over my Genesis to see which one I had. Its definitely a 3/4 model, but I am unsure if it has cut out tabs. The model is MK-1631. Does that mean it was built by Sega? Thanks for the help.

Although I owned and played the game boy and then the game boy advance in its time, I never purchased one single game boy color game. Totally missed that generation. It's great to see these reviews of the GBC. I know there must be a lot of gems for the GBC that I want to play now.

My daughter really enjoys playing kirby planet robobot on the 3ds xl when we go to target. Should i buy her the $199 3ds xl and this kirby game for $39, or should i buy her the 2ds for $79 which comes with yoshi's new island? Would kirby planet robobot look terrible on the 2ds? Should i wait for the NX? keep in mind that i won't be buying a bunch of ds games, cause we have 5 other systems.

Would it be worth it to get a Super Game Boy for the SNES?

Although I own a SNES, Genesis, Turbografx-16, Atari 800, and Nintendo 64, I would give them all up for the gameboy series of portables. Between the classic game boy games, the color, and the GBA carts, you get a great cross section of gaming from 1989-2008. I currently own 4 GBA advances. I particularly love the artwork on the cartridges of the classic gameboy games. Nemesis is one of my all time favorite games for the gameboy.

Although the gameboy advance is very capable of 3D graphics like Doom, I still prefer the 2D games on the system. My favorite probably is Klonoa Empire of Dreams.

I found this plastic case with a lid at Target in the dollar section. It fits 21 GBA carts perfectly. Unfortunately, they don't sell it any more, and I only bought one.

I can't remember what year it was, but it was at least 2001. Everybody was trading in their gameboy games and most could be found at GameStop for under $5 each. I drove to all the GameStops in the area, of which there were many, and picked up quite a collection (about 100). Now its crazy to see them going up in value. Anybody know what caused everybody to start getting rid of their gameboy games?
