  1. I don't have all the ECS games, but I have a couple.  I found them overall to be hugely disappointing.  Both the Scooby-Doo game and Jetson game are just blatant licensing gimmicks with bland games.  Mr. Basic was no fun.  A lot of the later INTV games were much much more fun than the ECS games.  I did hear Mind Strike was decent though, but don't have that one.

I messed around with the programming though and that's interesting.  You pretty much need the manual (there are good text versions of it out there on the Internet).  It was amusing to take graphics from games like Burgertime and make the hotdog walk across the screen.

would you be willing to sell those over all disapointing games? Maybe just one? Please I'm desperate!

  2. It's mint condition and it's white with a red stripe around it. Theres a little flap on the front where the keboard plugs into. It says Intellivision Computer Adapter on it. I've never seen a picture of an ECS and I have read a little bit about it. Do you have to buy special ECS games for it? Does it have any games loaded on it (I left the power cord at my friends house) Sorry for my ignorance ( I bought it because I always wanted an Intellivision II computer module and it was six bucks) any help would be appreciated. Even some links would be great. Thanks!

  3. I'm sure someone can come up with a Fuji-themed menorah easily enough. Perhaps upside-down Fuji's for the flames.

And if you wanted to get REALLY technical, have the select switch set the number of burning candles so it would be appropriate for each night of Hannukkah.

yes, thats a great idea! I dont celebrate hanuka, but they could do something like that for Cristmas too. Like pressing the select button puts on 1, 2, or three ornaments on a tree.

  4. You've definately gotta pick up all of those old Arcade Series NES games like Mario Bros. and Galaga and stuff for sure.

Double Dragon 2 is a good 2 player game. But I cant think of any that you play against eachother except for Mario Bros and Karate Champ which is horrid

Well of course! You cant make an NES arcade cabinet without the old Arcade games!

  5. games that are a must have for dc:

Toy Commander: THIS GAME IS OFF THE HOOK!!!!! Great single player, even better multiplayer. Tanks, planes, jets, cars-all the good stuff.

Seaman: Talk to a fish!!! He even insults you!!! It's great to be able to trash talk to a virtual fish and have him understand you.

Sonic Adventure 1 &2: It's sonic. Nuff said.

Resident Evil Code Veronica: Resident Evil is a great series and this is just another rendition of it.

Evolution 2: Don't really remember it other than its an RPG and that it was good

Space Channel Five: Early kind of dance game like DDR. It's fun. I understand theres a GBA one now too.

Jet Grind Radio: The X-Box one sucks. Just go with the good stuff. Cel shaded (I think) graphics and rocket skates, as well as gangs, good music and grafiti.

Power Stone: Very good fighting game.

Crazy Taxi series: So far the only game that lets you be a taxi driver. (please post if I'm wrong)

I hoped this helped you in your beginings as a Dreamcast owner. I own all these games so you can trust me I know what I'm talking about.

  6. I want to know because I'm going to make a NES arcade cabinet over the winter and I wanted to make it a good two player game. The trouble is, I don't know any good two player arcade games on the NES. I'm not saying Contra (Contra is a really good one though) I'm saying like versus eachother. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

  7. In addition to selling the cart, we are considering giving one away free with orders over 'x' dollars ($50? $100?)  We'd like to make it available inexpensively for those who just want the cart, as well.  But first, we need to decide what we're going to display on the cart!  And of course, come up with a label and a simple manual.  I'd personally like to have several holiday screens to choose from, not just Christmas.  We may run a quick contest to come up with the designs, but it would have to be fast so we can start dolling out the darts!  :D

    ..Al

Why would anyone want a manual for a cart that only displays a picture ? :? :ponder:

maybe a manual as in a card that commemorates the ownership of this thing?

  8. I'm not talking rare though, just say, someone came and took all of your collection and said you could keep one for a thousand dollars (I know none of us would pay it but this is all theoretical) . Just for fun lets say that all other atari games were stolen by frogs and eaten by monkies so that you cant go out and buy it again. Mine would be either video olympics or combat.
