  1. Bad news, it seems as if my mom might make me move out of my now called "Little Crammed Atari Place" (what an original name aint it?) Becuase she claims she has more stuff to cram in there. Man I love that closet so much. The cool thing is is that it's so far deep back into the basement, you can't hear anything when your in there. I was late for a funeral yesterday because my family didnt know where I was and I couldn't hear their calls because I was playing a heated game of Space Invaders . I will bring you more news, and I will try and batton down the fort as long as I can. Wish me luck....

  3. I know what you mean, I just never thought mine would be in a storage closet!
  4. First, I must tell you that this will probably be the most UNLIKELY place for an Atari Game Lounge. It's not actually a room- it's a storage closet in my basement . So here's the story: My mom was cleaning out this storage room in my basement and I say "Hey! that would be a perfect place to play atari in peace!" It had a perfect place to put everything, even a perfect place to sit. So I pulled in some extension cords, an old TV that I found also in that closet, and of course the good old heavy sixer. Below are some pictures showing the room, and me playing in the room. (notice that the pictures aren't very good because I took them with an I-Zone Polaroid camera and then scanned them) Also, should I submit this to the DP Room of Doom? It's not very big but I know that they post the oddest gaming rooms that they can find and, I think this one is pretty odd. I'll post the first picture and then the next 3 will come in a few minutes. Thanks to all who look!
  5. Theres this lynx on ebay and I want to buy it but it says its PAL. I know that this screws up a bunch of other systems so I was wondering if it would have any affect on playing U.S. games. Thanks
  6. I know it's a stupid question I just can't seem to find it anywhere. Also, when did mrs pac man come out? I have this argument with this prissy little stuborn know it all girl and I want to get her. Thanks!

  11. How about, instead of combat, maybe a pong cart? maybe something that other people besides us atarians would recognize. for example i said to my mom (not an atarian in any way shape or form) "hey mom what's combat?" she had no idea then i said to her "hey mom whats pong?" she knew all about that- see my point?

I only got into atari hardcore though about a year ago. now im going full steam ahead buying everything classic left and right. i have an atari 2600, intellvision II, nes, snes, n64, gba, gbc, gb, dream cast, ps2, gamecube, and im getting a sega master system sometime.
  14. i'm in! I have an extra combat cart too that I think would ike a good vacation from my dark gloomy cart drawer...
  15. What does the system come with? Does the system work? What cosmetic condition is it in? If it's in great condition, $100.00 is a fair price, but not a steal by any means. Well, if it's somehow escaped the Vectrex Buzz, it may be... what?
  16. A local second hand video game store has a vectrex for about a hundred dollars. Is this a good deal? I've always liked vectrex's and I've played my friend's. I was just wondering if this was an alright price. Thanks
  17. thanks man. I was really hoping that that would be a real game that I could actually play. im gonna go get my BIG dvd and find all those arcade machines in those scenes...
  18. I don't even know if it was on an Atari Computer but I thought I would ask anyways since the question has been killing me for years. What kind of computer is he playing it on and if possible where can I download an emu/rom? thanks. p.s. this is my first post and I think of many! I'm also a member of IGN's message boards and I post there frequently
