  1. That might have worked...and I will try it. But I think I figured it out. My phone system is really weird so I think it is not letting the dreamcast dial out. Because I used the dreamcast on a different phone port that isnt connected to our phone system, and it worked.
  2. Thanks for the site JB, but when I put in the user logins and passwords they give me, I still get a no dial tone on modem message when I try to connect. What am I doing wrong?
  3. Well, I signed up for a free 10 hour per month dial up internet acces account at Juno. Now what I am wondering is how do I connect to that with my dreamcast? There are no access numbers or anything on the Juno site. I am a complete idiot on this subject. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. I put in free dial up on google and it said that Juno was free but I had to download something....how do I get free dial up on my dreamcast?!
  5. I wish I could get free dial up so that I could log on with my dc! ahh....just have to wait until I mod my xbox..... wait! couldnt you plug in a dial up cable into your dreamcast, then plug that into your computer, then plug in your ethernet into your computer and merge the connections somehow?
  6. So, are there any lovers of music games on these boards? What music game/s do you play? What level are you on? How do you play these games (arcade, computer, playstation import)? . What is your favorite song? For me, I would have to say Dance Dance Revolution. I play it at arcades, on my computer and on playstation. I do a good heavy mode with A'ing such songs as Tsugaru and Kakumei. My favorite song is from Sixth8th mix, Sandstorm.
  7. Is there any way that I can connect with my dreamcast without a broadband adaptor?
  8. A standard controller for what? The way the gameboy DDR's go is that A is up and B is right or something like that. That is what you push when you do the jumps.
  9. Xbox ps2 gamecube gameboy advance dreamcast n64 gameboy color saturn genesis lynx super nintendo gameboy nintendo atari 7800 atari 5200 intellivision atari 2600 PC all in all 18 I think...
  10. No dancepad....just use your fingers like you do on Stepmania for PC or you can use the controller in the PS2 version. Amplitude or Frequency would be fun. As for Bust-A-Move, that's an entirely different game.
  11. Well, actually a couple games on one disk would be DDR Extreme and Beatmania I yearn for a portable DDR!!!! Beatmania is fun too!!! AAHHHHh!
  12. I think it would be cool to mod an XBOX. What can I do with a modded one? Is it worth the money/work?
  13. I would recommend Time Crisis 3 for playstation 2 and House of the Dead 2 for Dreamcast. Silent Scope is also good on Dreamcast and I don't know about Xbox because I have heard mixed things about the Xbox Light Gun.
  14. i had a nintendo 64 when everyone else had playstation. I guess we thought that the PS1 was a much more hard ass system than N64. Funny, the exact same thing is happening today with the Gamecube. I fear Nintendo is going to go out of business.
  15. Adventure...and by the way, when do you think Zonik will be completed?
  16. They look like interesting systems but what I am wondering is- are they any fun? I don't know much about them but I figured now is as good a time as any to find out and maybe buy one. Thanks for any info.
  17. My idea of a perfect system requires many things to happen first: 1. EA Games, Logitech, Dell, and eVGA merge into one company ( EA makes the games, Logitech makes the peripherals/controllers,eVGA takes the job of creating state of the art graphics system, and Dell makes the hardware as well as handle customer service) 2. They buy up all the liscenses they can get. Sign all thrid party developers possible. Once this is done, design of the system follows 3. The new company sticks with their liscences and takes their time making a new system. Once the system is completed they start making games that are based around the technology that is a final version, not a preliminary version of the system that the software developers are given to start making a game on. The system must have these features: 1. Composite, S-Video, and RCA connections all built in standard. 2. Wireless controllers that recharge when plugged back into the system 3. Must have a 40 GB hard drive 4. Online capabilities along with built in web browser. The company making the system should release programs made for the system as new online features to be added to the hard drive (i.e. AOL Instant messanger) 5. Games should be on DVD format (like many modern systems) 6. Ability to handle all kinds of media (movies, audio, pictures ect.) 7. Great first party games 8. Great third party games My idea of a launch title (this was thought up by a friend): A game kind of like the Sims in which you would have to take care of yourself and you can buy things for your house and stuff. The only different thing is, you only control one character and you have direct control over them all the time. Also, you live on one planet and can go anywhere you want. You can do anything you want as well. If you want to go onto a golf course and steal golf balls you can! If you want to learn how to fly a plane you can! I think that would be the best game ever!
  18. I've had a Lynx since Christmas and haven't gotten around to buying more games yet. (the only one I have is California Games, which is fun but gets old quickly) . I am going on a long road trip soon and I want some games that I can spend a lot of time playing. I'm thinking Shanghai but I need others. If you have a game that was suggested, and would like to sell it, please PM me for how much you want. Thanks a lot. -Mike
  19. Love posting on Urban Dictionary! Never thought to post atari though! I have a bunch of definitions up there.

  22. I was at EB Games yesterday and I picked up the Robotech Battlecry Collectors Edition new for $4.99. This is the one that comes with a t-shirt, dog tag, concept art, the soundtrack for the game, and of course the game itself. If you like this game but don't have it yet I highly suggest that you buy it now.
