  1. just for info, I have unzipped your archive into my YN-folder and I have 3 more files now, that I obviously missed somewhere around. It seems to be very complete thx
  2. So sad news, he was so enganged here in the forum and I think we all love his enormous work for the TI99 My condolences to you and the family 😢
  3. Are there SCSI terminators in use and are they OK ? (I had behaviour like this on a PC decades ago)
  4. I have two 8620er at full work here since 10 or more? years. The defective print head seems to be a "wanted" standard problem for these printers after 10 or 20.000 printouts. and I tried a lot of ways to "repair" that in the past. There are many videos on youtube for how to reanimate (clean) the print head, but none of them ever worked for me. Also buying a (chinese) new print head did not fix the problem. Some month ago I was lucky in buying a badly used 8620er for 50eu on eBay, I just wanted to swap the print head, but it turned out that it was used for 500 prints only, so for now, now I have a new printer 🥰 Still looking for more machines
  5. It starts now and seems to work. Thanks ! There is one message at start, but I think this does not matter ?
  6. Hi, I get this error message, maybe this is due to Java 1.8.0 (on Win 8.1) ? (I definitely need this for some older apps like HP ILO, otherwise I would lockout myself) TIMT 2.4.7 works Any workaround possible maybe ?
  7. Great stuff For later visitors: Item description from the seller This vintage 3M 1.44 MB floppy diskette is a rare find for collectors and computer enthusiasts. The diskette is compatible with Windows operating systems and is licensed for business-to-consumer use. It comes in CD format and has unlimited device usage. The brand is IBM and the language is English. This item is perfect for those who are looking for a blast from the past or need a unique addition to their collection. The diskette is in acceptable condition and is ready to be used. Don't miss out on this opportunity to own a piece of computer history.
  8. great, thx. So this is what I have added to the list we have worked out some years ago: GENEVE-MDOS-Versions--LISTv1.03b.pdf Preview:
  9. thanks. So, overkill or not , is the "New Nintendo 3DS XL" OK too ? I would like to have the most modern version (no DSi because of the cam) as maybe there will be other use for it. PS What about this "SNES-Edition", OK too ?
  10. Hi, is this one OK for the job ? https://www.ebay.com/itm/305354504588
  11. I think the Edit-Button has moved to the upper right ... menu (see pic below) In addition, I remember going to >My Name > My Attachments, there was a "Delete"-Button next to each attachment, also for older posts, but I cannot find this anymore
  12. Behind my curtains Geneve 2 extra Cooler-02-only.mp4
  13. If u need anything, or have ideas or wishes for new lists, pls just let me know There 4,597 entries in the "DB" now 🥰

So here we are Floppy disk drive list: ALL DRIVES: TI-99-4A-FLOPPY-DRIVES-TI-99-v1.18a-ALL-DRIVES.pdf TI-99 compatibles: (Maybe ) TI-99-4A-FLOPPY-DRIVES-TI-99-v1.18b-TI99-ONLY.pdf Hints for the last column in the list:
  15. just add "ss" at the beginning of the URL: https://www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=4BtEap2fPPg
  16. Great collection 🥰 By chance, do you have a picture from the bottom of the TI-99/4´s power supply unit (with the TI part numbers) ? (I collect these numbers for documentation) thx
  17. I have the 80track-modded Myarc DDCC-1 controller, but I never used it with 720KB. Same for the HFDC. The maximum that I use (IRL and Emu) is 360KB, but my preferred format is 180KB / 40Tracks (best compatibility with other hardware and users)
  18. The serial number (#1035) tells me Horizon Ramdisk 1000 PS Some "serial" info that I gathered from Ksarul some years ago: (red means "not confirmed")
  19. And I found this Mod to use it with the Geneve. From Paolo Bagnaresi 1989. (Is this still the up to date version?) Myarc512K-MODIF.pdf
  20. @RickyDean First moment I thought "this will not work" because you´ll need an USB-2-IDE adapter but not an IDE-2-USB one... But then I saw it says "Bridge", so it should work in your way (direction) , right ? The shown SD-2-IDE and CF-2-IDE do say it correct: a CF-Card (or SD) will work as IDE drive, but NOT the other way around but OK, these are adapters, not bridges...
