I always wondered were they ever planning an attachment to play the 8 bit computer games right from the 5200 like the 2600 attachment

Here's my 2 port the label is pretty damaged

If I key board was planned did Atari see the 5200 more of a computer or a gate way tool to the Atari computers

How do I find out which ones they have and which I'd need to hunt out and any idea where I can go to find it

That is so cool I was about that age too i was born in 81 we didn't have a lot of games for it but that didn't bother me I still loved it

Is there any site that sell the 5200 games that are conversions of the 8 bit computer games like donkey kong

Still problems aside there are still games that are the definitive versions on the 5200 due to this controller as stated missile command but also robotron qix come to mind in the reviews of the other two console I never hear of any games that are looked at as the top due to intelivision or colicos controllers

I know this system gets a lot of crap especially the controllers, but for me it will always be one of my all time favs. It was the first video game console I ever played as a kid. So many fond memories playing PAC man, jungle hunt, pole position, and galaxian. I feel the controllers get a bad rep. They aren't perfect but to me in watching reviews it seems that intelivision and colico get more of a pass on their controllers. Faults and all there are still games that are on the 5200 that those controllers are the best for it. Is there really any games on the other systems that benefit from their controllers more then any other system that plays the same game.

Besides what already came out what system would you like to see bought back as a flashback as ether as a console or a portable. For me the 5200 and 7800 would be awesome as well as the vectrex would be cool.

I would like to see a few of the run and guns. Like heavy barrel. Or side scrolling rolling thunder. Or classic fighter Yei Ar Kung fu

Funny thing about dual Pac if you have the tengen copy of ms Pac man for the NES it has a co op two player mode for only the black cartage one.

Did anyone on here buy it in 1984 and what were the games that came out for it on the pre release

Wasn't the 7800 test marketed in 84 how did it sell and what games was out for it at that time.
