The look is what I liked you could tell the 7800 is based off that look with the buttons on the side I would have loved one controller for paddle and joystick the idea of home brews based off that like a Tron one for the paddle for the dial controls of the arcade

How do the Atari 2800/ sears arcade II controllers work are they worth picking up if I can get a hold of them or are they more of a novelty.

Classic COMPUTER Games you'd love to see ported to the 7800

Oregon trail then would be awesome -
Has anyone ever attempted a cloak and dagger homebrew
-
I downloaded it on my flashback portable but it don't work right PAC man looks like he is going though the walls is there version of the rom that is correct
-
My Walmart just got these in. I'm not sure if all is the nes rom I know at least two of them are one being double dragon the other being mega man 2. Has anyone played these yet they look stupid in my opinion the joystick is too huge. And who wants to play a mega man game that way. Of course I could just be judging a book by its cover. So if anyone has played these are they any good.

I really appreciate ET a lot more nowadays. I think it's really ingenious how he added so many features and how to use them all with only one button. I didn't even know you could send away the doctor and agent on the screen until this year.

I would like to see pitfall maybe even a combo with pitfall 2 and hero ported and for the absurdity of it megaforce just because the good guys always win even in the 80s

Save feature on the new at Sega genesis portable
maxdrive replied to maxdrive's topic in Dedicated Systems
Is the new one worth it to get over the one I have. -
Heck if you got the skill the best part of the c64 is unlike other plug and plays it's not nes on a chip it is for all purposes a Commodore 64 you can even put in a keyboard disk drive and cassette drive I think even the printer.
-
I would love to be able to hack my c64 to turn it into a full computer but I don't have the skills to do it.
-
I was wondering if the save feature for the rpgs on it also work for games from the SD card. I have the older capcom one that has mega man the Wylie years on it only you can't save your process. I would consider the new one if I can put the rom on the card and still save it that way I can play the whole thing also I would put other rpgs especially phantasy star 4 if I knew I could save it
-
I was wondering if a hack would be possible for the 7800 ikari warriors game to use the sears video arcade 2 combo controller to do the rotating feature from the arcade. Since the arcade game's controller could rotate as well. if it could be pulled off it be the most accurate controls for the game ever.

I vote for both maniac mansion and monkey island. I would also love to see the mac adventure games make a appearance shadow gate, deja vu 1 and 2, and uninvited -
I was wondering what are some of your favorite plug and play systems that you own. I know the NES and SNES classics will be on a lot of lists what others do you find your self playing two of mine I love is the Commodore 64 plug and play from mammoth games. And my Atari 2600 paddle one just wish mine was the two player one.

Since robotron is one of the few games that benefit from the Atari 5200 controller. Would anyone do any other homebrews that use both controllers like finally get a Atari 5200 cloak and dagger, even smash tv or even karate champ.

Was the battery save on the at games sega systems something they were going to do already or did the nes mini with final fantasy and legend of Zelda make them add it in -

Will the flashback portable work with 7800 Roms for the sd card slot or is the tech not there for the avanced graphics if it can it will be a big plus for the system. -
I have the fb3 but would love to get the 2 for the activison games
-
Will the two at games sega have save features since they have both phantasy star 2 and 3 little disappointed they did not add 4 but the hand held with the sd card if you can save will handle that
-
Yes but most of these games are expensive not because they are rare but because they are good bubble bobble, Kirby, castlevanna, heck super Mario 3 just to name three are a lot of times more then they should be because the person selling it knows they are games people really want so this as a way to get them that will be a lot cheaper.
