  1. Website I bought it from: www.oldsoftware.com - a little hard to search but worth a look to find some of the gems they have a lot of sealed items for retro consoles and pc. Great CS, fast shipping and good price for this game. See the album for the pics.
  2. Can anyone confirm if the O2 games came shrink wrapped or if the stores did that before putting on the shelf? At this point I am leaning towards taking some photos and making a video of me unwrapping it but not quite there yet. Thanks for all the feedback thus far.
  3. Hey lets give him credit when its due... it's only like $2500 for each with the ability to submit your best offer... might be able to get both for the $4000 you mentioned.... I'm going for the complete collection myself and have already accepted that the only way I'm playing these is by Multicart , theft from another owner, or trolling Craigslist worldwide hoping a uninformed person posts them for a reasonable price.....
  4. You are going to make me go broke giving me all these sites with O2 stuff for sale.....
  5. So i recently decided to go for my first complete collection and landed on the O2 ( US releases ) after getting the system and 7 games CIB at an estate auction with a bunch of other retro gaming items. I knew it would be hard to find a few of the titles CIB in the condition I an aiming for, and that Atlantis, Demon Attack, Powerlords were going to set me back a few dollars. Little did I know that buried deep in my bing.com search for Odyssey 2 games for sale on PAGE 23 of search results.... yes I went that deep and I know its a problem but after seeing the pictures of my find below and learning the price you will understand that I will probably go through the rest of the search results even if the page numbers go into the 1000's. I saw the item description: Demon Attack cartridge game for the Odyssey 2 computer. New retail box. $17 for Odyssey2. Some of the items on this site have pictures.. this did not and the skeptic in me said there was no way... but it's always worth an e-mail to ask for a few photos so I shot an email to the generic inbox and 1 day later got a reply saying I will see if I can fins it to send pictures but I know those boxes for O2 were not sturdy and usually get worn quickly. Another 2 days later I go into work fire up the laptop and see a reply with the attached photos. Asking price was( I bought it 20 seconds after I saw the pictures): $17 plus $8 shipping and handling.... best I've seen on eBay was 89.99 w/ free shipping..... So the question presents itself: Do open this and play it... or do I just try to get a good deal on loose cartridge that works and leave this guy in its shrink wrap? Please leave some feedback.. I'm am really conflicted here...
  6. Frank( Noob124) is the type of seller others should strive to be like. Over the top communication, super fast shipping, extreme care taken while packaging the items, and more then reasonable prices. Would love to do business with again if he gets any more of the Magnavox Odyssey 2 games CIB that I am looking.
  7. Hey don't know if the operator(s) of that website are members to the site but I bought a Odyssey 2 game from them and it came exactly as pictured and described. They have a small inventory of retro items at the moment, and I'm not sure if it gets bigger than that but I wanted to give them some good publicity. Shipped quickly as well.
  8. Don't know if you have written your will out yet but if your in need of someone to care for these items in the event of your passing I can PM you my address! That is awesome. The display case puts it over the top! I just started my O2 collection. Up to 25 and the system CIB( 1 of the boardgames- Conquest included in the 25).
  9. Hey man you get it free at your local gamestop. I just asked one day a few months ago and the guy up there that I talk to on the regular said I could get the case and manual as long as I told him which ones I was getting so he could print a generic insert. I usually try to bring a blank case up to give them so i can take it.

  11. Hello everyone, I want to start of by thanking you for your time for responding or just for reading this. I was born in 1985 and the Odyssey 2 was released before then and production on new games stopped before I was out of diapers. I never played an Odyssey until a little over a month ago when I got it CIB along with 7 games CIB ( Pick Axe Pete, UFO, Bowling/Baasketball, KC Munchkin, Allpine Skiing. Speedway/Spinout/Crypto-Logic, and Conquest of the World- All the pieces and looks brand new!) I got the O2 with a bunch other items like Atari 1200XL + a ton of Atari related items, a TI-99 4/a and a few games, and Sears Telegames Pong unit. All for $86 dollars! I think I made out like a bandit and have since sold off everything besides the O2 for a nice chunk of change. I was planning on selling the O2 but for how nice of condition it and the games are in I just can't do it... So here I am now looking to aquire all the US games CIB and probably any of the Videopac that are not alternante versions of US games. I have found a few good deals based on what others have said they paid for some of the games, but a few of what others consider to be 'rare' are just flat out outrageous! I dont know how the sellars sleep at night knowing what price they put the games at. Sorry to ramble but I have really enjoyed learning about this system and its history. Here is what I have so for CIB and have spent about $40-$45 out of pocket to aquire the additional games I have minus the 7 that came with the system( I consider this free because I have more then payed for it with the money made off the other items). Some are still being shipped but I have payed for and consider them owned. If anyone has some of the games I do not CIB and not looking to take me to the cleaners I would like to buy them from you but probably not all at once. I only buy games when I haver extra cash flow selling on criagslist and eBay. Also any guidance to a good website that sell these games at a decent price would be awesome as well. 1. Alien Invaders Plus 2. Alpine Skiing 3. Attack of the Timelord 4. Bowling/Basketball 5. Conquest of the World 6. Freedom Fighters 7. K.C. Munchkin 8. Killer Bees 9. Monkeyshines 10. Pick Axe Pete 11. Smithereens 12. Speedway/Spin-Out/Crypto-Logic 13 UFO Thanks for your time and help! Scott
  12. Pachinko! Showdown in 2100 A.D.! Type & Tell! War of Nerves! Cant open links at work due to firewall but are these CIB and what is the price for each shipped. PM if you want. I really wont play the Make an offer game, it just ends one or both being frustrated.
  13. Hey guys attached is a few photos. Heres the rundown 1200XL: works have original power cord - no keys stick- have not done any real testing 1050- used nintendo adapter to confirm power on( no adapter) 1030 - used random adapter to confirm power on( no adapter) Tablet- powers on - not tested SynCalc - no disc but binder and cover slip seem complete SynFile+ seems to be a complete set Conversational Spanish - Five cassette tapes in excellent condition Timewise - unopened in wrap AtariArt cartridge - works. Any and all help is appreciated. Looking to figure out what I have and a fair value on these items since ebay has been very sporadic. Also need to know if spending the close 30 is worth it to find AC adapters for the 1050 and 1030. Thanks!
  14. I have been checking Ebay and amazon. Prices are very sporadic. I'll try to post pics later tonight for everyone. I respect the Atari home computer stuff and the this whole community tremendously but it's just not my passion and holding onto it to slows my plans to get my collections where I want them. Thanks! After pics are posted I will gladly discuss any offers. I'm not greedy and would love to see it go to someone who lives and breathes the stuff.
  15. Thanks for the reply alan. I am looking to find these items a home with some one who is passionate about Atari. It's not really my thing. I'm Zelda fan. I really need someone who can give me honest feedback about what I should expect to get for it. Thanks again.
  16. I am looking to possible FaceTime or Skype with someone who is knowledgable and would willing to offer advice on the items in the tag topics. Thanks!
