I went through the local Gamestop and hit a jackpot for me!

(I would have linked the image directly here, but my phone takes huge resolution pictures.)
These were the only other two (Mega Man and Sonic) I wanted from the Amiibos that have been released.
I might consider a few more characters in the future, but for now... I am happy.I don't like thinking about all the "scalping" business that is going on. You could argue all you want for or against it.
Replace the term "Amiibo" or "action figure" with "food" or "medicine", and the scenario changes completely.
People will always get cheated by those who say they "got prepared" sooner. Thankfully this situation is less life threatening and more incredibly annoying.
If someone does a few items like this, it's no big deal. It's when someone goes to extreme and hateful lengths (like that guy who spent THOUSANDS buying all the Rosalinas) that it becomes wrong.I don't like it, but I will deal with it because WORST CASE.. They are just fancy toys.
REGARDLESS OF ALL THAT!... I really like my Mega Man and Sonic. :]

Would prefer to sell it entirely as one lot, but if you are just REALLY wanting a single title, I'm willing to sell individual titles.
EDIT - Aaaand a few titles have already been claimed!
I talked with the person directly in chat, so thus the message isn't here.
However, do please try to post in the topic first to let other people know what has and hasn't been claimed. (Although I'll try to update it as things go.) -
Found my old Atari 2600 in the closet. I say "my" and "old" together, but it was never mine for a long period of time. Friend of mine sent it to me a couple years back, and then I put it into storage.
Took it out, tried it out, everything works great, but I just don't have any interest in it. A lot of the games were pretty cool (Defender was pretty cool for such an old game.), but I didn't grow up with an Atari so don't have much attachment to it.Here's a picture of all the materials I have with it.

http://imgur.com/a/JZFXaI have with it...
The console itself (CX-2600, one of the "Light Sixers" if that means anything)
All the cables and several controllers- Three Joysticks (Know one works but need to test the rest real quick)
- Two Paddles (Both missing the wheels need to go back and test those)
The Games:
- Asteroids
- Kaboom! (Two copies)
- Missile Command
- Space Invaders
- Warlords
- Pitfall!
- Combat
- Target Fun
- Street Racer
- Pac-Man
- Space War
-
E.T. Extra Terrestrial - Night Driver
Spider Fighter- Laser Blast
- Video Pinball
- Super Breakout
- Skiing
- Defender
A copy of Breakout that doesn't fit into the slot for some reason. (Atari n00b here I guess?)
And that's what I've got. Going to be honest... Not really sure what it's worth, but I figured I would try here instead of eBay.
Not looking to make a HUGE amount on this really, so I'm up to any offers for it. Also unsure about how I will ship it at this time.If you are interested, please post any questions on the topic, respond to the topic itself with some kind of message, and then hit me up with a private message so we can get things worked out.
I will be re-testing the controllers tomorrow since I didn't test every single one the other day. All of the games powered on though, so no worries there.
Games and accessories will be easy enough to send, but I'll have to figure up something for the system itself.
Any suggestions here will be gladly taken.
If you are feeling unsure about this, know that I will send it out and provide a tracking number before I expect any kind of payment.

Got a few more things to give away. Just need some shipping money but otherwise it is free!
Pictures available upon request!
Silver PS2 - Doesn't work but looks good overall. No cables or controllers.
Game Boy Color case - Looks good, painted a nice Mega Man-esque blue. No innards but would be a decent replacement case.StarTropics - Doesn't work for me, but maybe you can get it working! Painted the cart black because... I don't know.Skylanders Swap Force for PS4 - Everything in it. No extra characters though.Game Boy Player - Seems to be in good condition, but I don't have a disc so no way to test it.Pictures available upon request.
If you don't leave a message here first, I will NOT respond to your PM.
Take five seconds and do a "PM sent". I'll update the post as things are claimed.
EDIT - Wow that went super fast. At least people responded this time...
All of you will be getting responses soon. Next time please state which item you want to claim so as to avoid a couple of you trying to claim the same thing. LOL -
I own all three consoles now.
I voted WiiU because of all the consoles, it seems to be the main one with actual games coming to it.
(Actual games to me = something that's more about gameplay and having fun than being a cinematic masterpiece of a story with sometimes gameplay)
This doesn't mean I don't enjoy the PS4... But I only have the Xbox One because I got a good deal and play online with work friends.
I'll eventually get more for each, but neither one has really released exclusives that I want... -
Looooved me that new Wolfenstein.
Much like the rest of you, I enjoyed the gameplay along with the game's look and feel.
I will say though... The "old school" part was hard as crap to beat. I had to retry it several times before I finally got it.Regardless, that trailer pretty much has me sold on the standalone version. I hope they sell a disc for it rather than having to download it. (I'd still get it regardless though.)

Great communication, fast shipping, quality product, a delight to deal with. Would buy from again! (And probably will soon...)

I finished Okami HD about a week ago and currently working on Red Faction Armageddon.
I wasn't sure about it at first, but then a wave of delight washed over me with repeated (and often funny) use of the magnet gun.
Not sure what I'll do next, but I've got a large pile that is consistently growing.-

I do miss the age where playing games was just pop in and play, but at the same time, I could forgive current consoles modernization if the games coming out where actual games and not interactive cinematic nonsense.
Less story and cutscenes, more actual gameplay. I like a good story as much as the next person, but I paid for a game and not a fancy movie.
Love how older games managed to have both great gameplay and great stories without the need for all this (often) overly fancy graphics and cutscene-filled story telling.-

I went ahead and bought a New 3DS after stating I wouldn't get one...
I really enjoy it as an improved system, but I wouldn't have been disappointed had I not gotten it.ANYWAYS! The better hardware is nice since all my icons load up almost instantly rather than the brief loading. (I've got like 30+ downloaded titles... Mostly virtual console.)
If anything was worth the improvement, the 3D aspect was. No longer do you freeze your head in one location and hope to not randomly fall out of it. T-T
Going to be awful fun for people at retail to explain the difference when the games that ONLY work for New 3DS come out...Customer "So this is a new 3DS?"
Me "No, it's THE New 3DS." -
I have plans to buy a few of your games, but I gotta wait until I get paid next.
I'll send you a list of what I'm currently planning so we can get things nailed down.
Bigger note is that if someone wants anything I'm wanting before I can actually pay for them, feel free to sell to them instead.
Got no gripes with "first come, first serve."
Also, PM sent. -
I have a few Amiibos, but I lost interest in them fairly fast.
I wouldn't mind having a few more, (Currently only have Peach, Fox, and Samus) but I'm not going to go crazy and pay extra to get them.
With all the scalping going on, I'm not interested to pay two or three time more for a figure I rarely use.
Thankfully they have expanded use outside of the one game, so they are already a hundred times better than Skylanders. (Had a huge pile of these but got rid of them all.)
I really enjoy the figures as far as use goes, and they all look pretty good. I would argue that the more complex and highly detailed characters look better. (Peach compared to Pikachu, Kirby, or Donkey Kong.)
I know the store I work at has a few of the newer ones still in stock. If anybody is interested, I'm happy to grab them and send them at cost. (I believe we still had some of Zelda, Bowser, and Toon Link.)-

Ephemeral Fantasia for the PS2.
I don't know what drew me to getting this title but I did.
It's some horrible amalgamation of Majora's Mask (with 5 days instead of 3) with RPG elements and battles.
The game played bad, looked bad, and was just overall not fun in any way.
I got rid of it... but I kind of wish I still had it to show off the terribleness.

The best thing I ever found was a complete in box copy of Dragon Warrior IV at a goodwill.
Everything inside was in perfect condition except a small tear on the corner of the box. Then I got the Descendants of Erdrick to sign it!
Another great buy was a complete in box copy of Final Fantasy II (IV) that had EVERYTHING INSIDE!
Spent $26 and was soooo psyched about it. I ended up giving it to a friend of mine who valued it more than me. (I was young, didn't think about it, and super generous obviously.)
I know he still has it and offered it back if I ever really want it. -
Is the RGB Modded N64 still available?
EDIT - Message sent.

Custom Console Work (Showing off random paint jobs)
in Classic Console Discussion
Posted · Edited by KeeperofLindblum
A few months ago I decided to buy and try and fix old video game consoles.
In retrospect... This was a pretty big mistake. I bought a lot, ended up with more than I could possibly do, managed to get many running but others were unfixable (IE all those random consoles and game stuff I gave away on the free thread)
That isn't the point though! Point is to show off some of the work I've done and how terrible I feel at painting (although they don't look THAT bad).
I am also open to tips and suggestions for future work as well as giving out any tips from what I've learned in my experience.
Here's a few of the main images to show.
My first attempt to paint a SNES! Went really well minus the Eject Button. (Bit of a story there)

My second attempt at a SNES paint job! It went better than the first and dubbed... IRON MAN SNES! 8U

Then I painted a few Game Boy and Game Boy Advance shells. (Only have pictures for these two at the moment.)
My personal Game Boy Color with a fancy glass screen and everything!
A Game Boy Advance Shell that's part of a "work in progress".

A Sega Genesis controller I painted on a whim. Too bad the controller doesn't work well...
And today's latest creation!... A Kingdom Heart's themed NES. (Don't ask why Kingdom Hearts got involved, it just did.)

Also features a fancy Purple LED power light!
Here's the gallery with the rest of the images associated with this project ------> Project Dreamfall (Don't ask why I call it that... I don't know.)
Biggest tip I offer now? Be patient with paint. Just because it feels and looks dry doesn't mean you won't leave several fingerprints in it as you attempt to move it. -_-
