  1. The one who claimed the MOBO combo changed their mind. Up for grabs again!
  2. I want this game quite a bit, but I just don't think I can justify $60 for it. Maybe if it were closer to $30-45 I'd give in. Just don't feel like dropping $60 on a really nice upgrade for a game that essentially is the same.
  3. Updated with better list! I'll upload the pictures tomorrow.
  4. As of this time, I'd rather people take a group of items than single out specific items, especially the smaller items. Also, someone's already inquired about Batman Forever. I told them I'd reconsider singling out items if it wasn't all gone by next Friday. I'm trying to reduce post office trips. There might be more worth claiming for most people if you can recheck it tomorrow. I plan to take pictures and make a more complete list.
  5. GameCube pending! "Partial" Computer claimed~
  6. I just got the email a bit ago. Basically it's an "Analogue brand" replacement for the Game Boy systems. https://www.analogue.co/pocket/ They're even developing a dock for it to show on a TV... My wallet. EDIT - They're also planning adapters for other portables!
  7. Have you acquired a set of PS2 Bios? I don't think it'll even let you do anything without your own set of BIOS. Technically you are supposed to dump your own PS2 bios, but I don't think anybody actually does that. Per all the rules, you have to find them yourself, but that's relatively easy if you even try...
  8. Having only used Bleemsync... How does AutoBleem compare?
  9. If anybody is still considering, GameStop has them for $20 currently! https://www.gamestop.com/video-games/retro-gaming/playstation/consoles/products/playstation-classic/10168643.html Best to pick them up in store as it tried to charge like $10 for shipping and handling... I can't confirm if you can just go in and buy them for $20, or if you have to go online to get the price, so just a heads up.
  10. Sounds like a hell of an update! The voice to text and translation are pretty impressive upgrades... I'll have to upgrade when I get home and give this a shot. Also the reading actual discs is always cool~
  11. You might already have it on your list, but one of my favorite, lesser known N64 titles was Blast Corps. A very interesting and different game where you pilot various vehicles and mechs to destroy buildings and structures that are in the way of a nuclear carrier. (That story) It's surprisingly fun little gem!
  12. OOOOH! The temptation is real... If I had the extra funding, you'd already have a message by now. Good luck with the sale!
  13. Yeah I'm mostly acknowledging the games as a partial loss. They both work but aren't great. The DualShock was a pleasant surprise at least and a decent one of those is easily $10 on its own (if not more). Probably would have been better off ignoring the games and grabbing the SNES bundle.
  14. $10 for a PS1 dual analog, Super Wrestlemania, and Batman Forever. Not bad considering I rarely do any thrifting~ Really regret leaving behind a SNES bundle... Pretty good condition, 2 controllers, and hookups for $45. Maybe I should go back...
  15. I would say it's unlikely that a full set of sports games would truly be worth a lot. Sports games seem to be released in such large quantities and yearly that the old version is almost always worthless compared to the new year. I think there are a few odd sports titles that either was unreleased, had a smaller release (as old consoles and new consoles overlapped), or just some oddity of a release (Stadium Events) that might be worth a bit more. Otherwise... I figure the best bet is a "perfect storm" situation including the following: 1. An avid collector who wants it all 2. Mint/Perfect Condition games that are possibly New/Sealed 3. Either a full set or happening to have one of those "rare" sports games I made a comment about above. Side note! I found this random blog post that explains what I would define as "rare" for a sports game. https://blog.pricecharting.com/2013/04/15-rare-sports-video-games-most.html
  16. Yeah this article just upsets me in a lot of ways. I'm glad that I've mostly exited any form of real collecting. (Granted I was never that big into fully boxed, complete in boxed, or never opened ones.) The real problem is this could just end up driving up prices on games that aren't worth it. Emulation will remain as a top choice for the future it seems.
  17. I'm not the best seller, and it's been a while, but I figure I can offer a few quick tips. Take clear photos in a lit environment. - I tend to clear off my bed sheets and take photos on the flat, single colored surface. Keep descriptions short but detailed. - I make sure all obvious things are listed out. Be very concise with what's being sold. Flat Rate is Great. - This has already been mentioned, but flat rate boxes are free and keep your shipping cost easy! However... Buy a scale if you want to save cost. - I bought a cheap kitchen scale and have gotten pretty good at estimating costs. People often want the cheapest method... and Flat Rate is not always the cheapest. Printer can save some money too! - eBay has discounts on some shipping services, but you can only take advantage of it if you print the shipping labels. This adds up over time as a 10% discount gets a tad annoying to lose on shipping cost. (Do they still do this?) There is always the possibility on AtariAge... but as it's already been stated, you can really only sell effectively here if you have something rare/wanted or something heavily discounted (IE cheaper than eBay). I usually come here if I want things sold but don't want to hassle with eBay and fees.
  18. Sounds like a good deal on the CIB SNES Jr, but that choice is up to you if that's what you want. $50 local seems a lot unless it's coming with at least the cables and controller/controllers. Any games on top of that would just be a bonus~ Granted, the AV cables are super cheap and easy to get... but OEM is highly suggested on any cables you get as cheap cables and cheap power bricks can have some issues.
  19. Got an email earlier that the Framemeister XRGB Mini has finally stopped production! End of an era... If you're wanting one, you best strike now or you'll pay quite a bit more when they run out!

That's straight from the company who makes it. I figure most people have moved on to the OSSC though. <_<

  20. I'd definitely search around on eBay if you want the best pricing... I found the following while just looking at the first page. (Shipping puts it a bit over what I quoted.) Random eBay Auction - $85 + Shipping If you try to buy it local at a game shop... You're gonna overpay, but you'll be able to see it in person. 🤷‍♂️ EDIT - I only linked that auction because the system isn't yellowed, no obvious cracks, and it comes with (what appears to be) all OEM except the one third party controller. Games are okay but would get you started with 4.
  21. I'd give the following answers/opinions. 1. If you don't/can't/won't modify the SNES Classic, I would say it's worth getting a real SNES for some of the games that aren't on the classic. 2. I don't have any real judgement on the different varieties of SNES. If you're collection for collecting sake... do both. If you want one to play with, I'd just get a basic SNES. Without knowing your setup, I don't have a real answer for this. If you have a CRT, I think all the SNES will come out equal. I know the SNES Jr. has to be modified for a higher quality like RGB. Regular SNES will be pretty close unless you're just super picky on the video quality. I'll drop a link to go with this. --> https://www.retrorgb.com/snesversioncompare.html 3. As far as acceptable price... This will vary by what all is included. I'll do a rundown of what I feel is fair. SNES only - $20 to $30 - You can go higher on this if the SNES is in amazing condition, but I really don't think it's worth more than $30 even then. SNES with cables and a controller - $50 - This feels like the fairest price. You can maybe swing a bit higher if you can identify everything as OEM. SNES with cables, 2 controllers, and a game/games - $80 - This price is really only worthwhile if you can identify the games as worthwhile to yourself. It really only matches if everything's in good/great condition, all the parts are OEM where plausible, and the game that come with it is both worthwhile to you and worth the extra cost. Now you could always find a really nice looking SNES with nothing and start from there. It's just best to get things bundled together as you can usually get a better price that way overall and save some time. Once you start buying things individually plus any shipping costs if you do online... It'll add up quick. I wouldn't pay more than $100 for any sort of bundle unless it's got some of the big, expensive hits though. Keep in mind, I haven't really been buying retro lately, so I don't know if my prices are dated or not. At the end of it, it's however much it'll end up being worth to you.
  22. I bought a cheap USB to 3DS charger some time ago from GameStop. (It was marked down cheap for like $5.) It's always worked to both regular charge and "play" charge. Problem is I don't remember the brand nor does it have any markings. I swear it was an Energizer brand... Either way, I know I can play and charge at the same time with no issue. Might just be whatever brand you got?
