  1. I have my issues with Limited Run Games. Overall, I love the concept of having a complete, physical copy of a game. Only problem is their selection can be weird at times. I realize it's mostly along the lines of "what they can get", but it wasn't that good at first IMO. Also their initial releases were about the worst time to want to support them. They had an insanely limited number of copies, and if you missed out on the first 30 minutes to an hour... you were just outta luck. Thankfully, this has greatly improved over time. They have a bit better variety of games, and they seem to be holding enough copies now that you can easily hit them up at any time on release day and find a copy. On top of that, most of the Switch games are now on pre-order and pretty easy to jump on. Honestly, I would love it if they did some re-releases down the line (as plausible) to get some of their older library back out there. Granted, my understanding is that the Vita cartridges are defunct as Sony stopped taking orders for them... or am I misunderstanding that? Vita is definitely going to go up in price.
  2. All that's left are the PS4 games. They're pending with one person, but I'm gonna give them another day or so to respond and then open them back up to the public. Feel free to throw your name on that pending list!
  3. Gone! Thanks for playing~
  4. Everything is sold! Thanks for playing~
  5. Yeah I was kinda disappointed in the UMD case quality when I was looking around for Crisis Core. The store I bought mine at had like 4-5 copies, but all the disc cases were broken in one way or another. This was the "least broken" of the group. It does push in ever so slightly, but it's not broken enough that the disc can come out from what I can tell. I had it taped previously, but I removed that for the time as I couldn't get it on as well as I'd like.
  6. I may be priced a tad bit high, so please feel free to send me offers.
  7. I've attached a picture. Hopefully zoomed in enough so you can see. Disc won't fall out of the frame from what I can tell and plays just fine.
  8. Just a final note, that's more of a starting price. It won't really go down much if you don't want the game as I'll have zero use for the games without the system. 🤷‍♂️
  9. Yeah I'm kinda disappointed to hear the Switch version is garbage. I bought it with the thoughts of "this great game on the go!". Looks like I'll have to try and return it now... PS4 version here I come.
  10. PSP has sold! Thanks for playing!
  11. I still got them! Just message me.
  12. Okay so just to clarify (as I can't seem to edit anything at the moment). I made the original post on my phone and forgot to add a list so then I added a list and edited on PC... So this is all still available. Also, I will be sure to ship these in some form of a small case so that each game is protected in one way or another. I can split this all up if wanted, but I'd prefer not to?
  13. Gone! Thanks for playing~
  14. This is pretty cool to finally see something for the Nintendo 64. I mean... It's a shame I kinda wrote off the Nintendo 64. Sure, I liked/loved a lot of games on it, but most of the titles I wanted have gotten ports or I don't love them enough to have kept the console. Everything above and the lack of an affordable HDMI option made me sell off my fancy RGB N64 some time ago. If this thing is affordable and works as well as it seems.. I wouldn't be opposed to purchasing one.
  15. Eh no worries. If you like something, you like it. Just seems a bit absurd of a cost... But I understand being a big enough fan of a game/series to want to buy all the cool collectible stuff.
  16. Pardon the bump of an old thread, but I didn't feel this justified a new thread. We got more overpriced repros! https://store.iam8bit.com/products/earthworm-jim-1-2-25th-anniversary-edition ONLY $134.99!!! By the way... They still have in stock copies of all the OTHER repros. Mega Man 2, Mega Man X, and Street Fighter II - All $100 each
  17. So we're gonna have another discussion/argument of emulation vs real hardware... This is just like a biweekly event now isn't it?
  18. A couple of games had special enhancements from Super Game Boy (and have a fancy logo for this as well). Donkey Kong is the most impressive, but there are a few more. I found a good link that gives the best list here ---> https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/UsefulNotes/SuperGameBoy
  19. I was cool with this idea, but then I saw the design of the arcade stick... and I've just lost all interest.
  20. Thanks for the link! I'll keep watch on it for a bit and see where it goes~
  21. Yeah I had a feeling this was a long shot, but I wanted to try. I'll look about eBay a bit more at this point. Feel free to shoot a message if you have one to sell/find a good set.
  22. As previously stated by them, the "best retro gaming setup" is very subjective, but I will describe my own as I like having a good mixture of setup. I previously was using a Framemeister along with any RGB ready or modded consoles I could get. I think I maxed out at around.... 8-10 consoles. Took some time and money, but I had almost everything through RGB with a few odd component items as necessary. It was a beautiful setup... but I worried about failure and redundancy. Thus I began the great console purge and switched over to... HDMI setup! I greatly reduced the number of consoles I had and focused on having HDMI-capable replacements for everything. This involved replacing all my RGB-Scart setup with consoles that were either capable of HDMI through an adapter or an HDMI full replacement. I also ended up eliminating consoles that I liked but wasn't in love with. I ended up eliminating NES, Sega Genesis, and N64. I traded up the SNES to a Super NT and invested in a usable (but questionable) HDMI adapter for PS1. At this point, I have an older 4k Vizio with only the following consoles: PS1 thru PS4 (all HDMI except component on PS2), Super NT, HDMI-modded GameCube, Switch, and PS4. I also purchased a low end slim desktop PC for emulation. Once I added a slimline video card in it, I can handle as heavy a games as PS2, GCN, and Dreamcast! This is where I put all the games/roms of titles I'd enjoy playing, but I don't feel the want or need to have a dedicated console for. I MAY consider a Mega Sg in the future, but until then, I'm happy with my mixture of real HDMI options and an emulation PC to round it out~
