  1. I'm probably gonna hit up this sale for Resident Evil 2 REmake. Granted, I saw it's also on sale at Amazon...
  2. Hello! I'm looking for a legitimate copy of Final Fantasy 3. I have a complete copy of Final Fantasy 2, and I was hoping to get a complete copy of 3 to go next to it. I'm fine with a loose copy at the end of the day, but I'd be happy if anybody happened to be selling or possibly had a lead. I've checked eBay, but those copies are leaving me with questions and concerns... EDIT - I managed to find a modest priced FF3 that also came with Super Mario Kart and Mario All-Stars! I may have overpaid a bit, but it was a decent price for all 3!
  3. GOG lets you download drm free files, and I believe you can just install those without having a client. However, you may not have access to any sort of multiplayer items without their client. As for actual CDs that do this? As far as I know, those are completely non-existent as any company with enough clientele to press CDs/DVDs will most likely have a game client. I'm pretty sure this has been the standard for PC games for over a decade now...
  4. In this day and age, you're not going to get away from using SOME form of a game client. As digdugnate said above, everybody has a client now... and it's slowly getting worse. Steam is probably the best among them, but I feel a lot of that is just that they are one of the oldest platforms. If you forget about the massive pile of dung at the top (thanks a lot Steam Greenlight and Steam Direct), Steam has the greatest selection of games, options, and features. The second best is probably GOG. I can think of the following game clients just off the top of my head... Steam GOG Origin Battle.Net Epic Games itch.io Twitch Discord And this doesn't include the several companies that are trying to launch their own like Bethesda. If you play games on PC, you're gonna have to accept that buying and just installing the game to play is basically gone. Closest you'll get to that is GOG.
  5. Thanks for all the links! I figure to make it for a friend, so I'll make slight revisions~ Mostly don't need quite that much space, and I'd prefer a PlayStation style controller if possible. Granted it'll be a gift, so they can always upgrade some of this themselves. LOL
  6. Thinking of setting up a Rasp Pi for a friend. Anybody have input on the best one to get right now? Or should I consider an alternate micro PC in that regard? As long as it did up to N64/PS1, it would probably be more than enough <_<
  7. I still hit up GameStop every once in a while. You can get a good deal if you go during one of their sales, like Buy 2/Get 1 Free Used OR 4 for $20 ($9.99 or less). Otherwise they aren't worth the effort IMO.
  8. I could very well be in for the Castlevania collection. Not much interest in the other two though...
  9. PM sent for Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (3DS)
  10. No response from previously interested party. I've opened the items back up to be claimed.
  11. Everything's gone. Thanks for playing!
  12. I don't think we're technically allowed to post up links to exact places or directly talk about it. I'll just suggest that you find the organization that likes to archive things.
  13. For $30, it delivers an easy enough HDMI experience. We all know there are better choices, but this is about the cheapest you'll get that directly goes to HDMI. Anything else requires at least 1 cable and 1 adapter. Until someone delivers a true single cable HDMI experience for the PS1... I'm good with this adapter.
  14. Yeah I realize 4 GB of RAM probably isn't very desirable in this day and age, but I thought I'd at least offer. *shrugs*
  15. Actually I just got it sold! Thanks for the support!
  16. Bump. More details and final set price. I can add pictures if there are any interested parties?
  17. Only price reduction would be if you didn't want the controller with it. I'd be willing to drop it by $20 for no Dualshock 4. (It's an older black one. Controller looks and works fine.)
  18. Removed all sold items to make lists smaller/easier to read. If it's not under the lists, it is gone / in freebie thread.
  19. Moved several items to eBay. Moved another item or two to freebie thread. I'm open to offers on most items left.
  20. I have added pictures for some of the items and added a few more things. I'll try to get the remaining items pictured for any interested parties.
  21. Moved some items from my "For Sale" thread.
