  1. copper oxide does not dissolve in alchohol. . i just look to see if the contacts are dirty if they are i hitem with the sponge. rub until i dont see any green anymore... doesnt hurtem.... through em in the clean pile.. actually my sponge is about wornout .. time to get another one from my taper friends

you guy would probably crap if i told you i use brasso in my cds. save a lot of disks that way.

  2. i actually use sandpaper on all my nintendo games. well not sand paper but a sanding sponge for sanding drywall mud.. its the only way to get an old tengen game to work. i dont even screw around with alchohol anymore wast of my time. if you do use this method i would make sure the sponge of fine grit and well used. takes the green copper oxide right off.then the carts work every time.

1 atari 400 in box with foam insert. keyboard has been updated from the touchpad. has got the 48k expansion board on it... box is in pretty good condition. computer itself is in mint condition and has probably been in its box for 20 years. has a power supply. boots up and accepts cartriges fine..

2 atari 800 computers in boxes with the foam inserts.. boxes are fair, inserts are good, computers are mint..both come with original power supplys and tv converters in thier original packaging. both boot up just fine..

1 atari 800 computer loose. powers up but doesnt boot up... any ideas??

2 boxed atari 410 tape decks boxes are fair every thing else is in very good condition.. havent powered them up but ill make sure they work before i ship them out..

2 boxed 1050 disk drives boxes are fair but both have different pictures on them for some reason. both power up but i do not have a cable to hook them up to the 800.. have to work on that this weekend. i wonder how common the cables are.. one of the disk drives has been modded with a protect/unprotect toggle switch... nice clean job done of it... these drives are in mint condition, the plastic has not even been taken of the metal strip..

3 circuit boards,,, 1 400 power supply??? one with 4 chips in it and on with 16 chips on it... i assume one of them is the original ram for the 400..

the original keyboard for the 400

a 5 foot 25 pin cable male at on end female at the other????

  4. not sure yet got a lot of cataloging to do. and a lot of checking to see if it all works. what a way to spend a weekend,,, messing around with 25 year old computers i know nothing about.

id say most of the antic mags have the floppys that came with them.

im going to trade this stuff off here and maybe keep the loose 800.

ill get in touch when i open up for trades on this stuff. im going to post pictures of it so people can really see how good they look. i want to keep these within the aa crowd. i couldnt see these gong to some random guy on ebay.

i dont know how well these comps age but all this stuff looks like is been in its boxes for 20 years. the boxed 800s look like they have never been used.

i also believe that the 400 has a 48k ram upgrade because i have a manual and book for it. ill have to check it out.

i have a couple of boards as well.

also a couple of replacement keyboards.

also the manual for the 1 800 is so mint i didnt even open it up.

this is all farly fun,,, my first in the wild find was a good one..

  10. 1051 my high score

this is a pretty good game, hats off to ya man.

if i were to change it i would cut out the first 200 - 250 points of play time

and make the difficulty gradient just slightly less steep....

that would make the game more replayable to me

little more difficult in beginning and a little longer game time.

  11. i figure i better make a list of what i have and have coming to me to make it easier on people.
