I used to hang out on JI2 back in the pre-Battlesphere days--I haven't checked back in ages (Scatbox? Battlesphere Gold?). Needless to say, I was surprised to see all the drama about T-bird abandoning the Jaguar.
Scratch that.
I was surprised to see that so many people were sorry to see him go.
The whole mess reminds me of a kid who gets upset when he can't play HIS way, so he packs up his toys and goes home. It doesn't matter if he was wrongly banned--his reaction of completely pulling out of the Jaguar scene strikes me as a contrived, childish, and overdramatic attempt to garner some sort of regret on the part of everyone who "wronged" him. Why, Albert, this is ALL YOUR FAULT! I hope you feel horrible for depriving the Jaguar community of such a talented, witty, intelligent and (most of all) BELOVED member of the Jaguar programming elite.
Fortunately, T-bird is soooo magnanimous that I bet if you went crawling back RIGHT NOW beating your breast, gnashing your teeth and pulling your hair out, he JUST MIGHT deign you to be worthy of his forgiveness.
Whatever.
If this is how he chooses it to be, then HE has made the bed he is lying in. He is a talented programmer, that is without doubt--but he is also a world-class narcissist jerk who needs to understand that respect isn't about some video game you made, but about how you treat people.
I say better to live without some game (Remember, we're a bunch of adults talking about video games here), than put up with someones continual childish outbursts and BS (and I don't mean BattleSphere!).
