    Koffi Talk

Game looks great! Too bad i got outta the 5200 system a few years ago. Darn I wish i didn't sell it! Anyways I just wanted to say how much I loved the artwork on the Koffi: Yellow Kopter cart! It put a "BIG" smile on my face! It looks like the "real" thing....great job!
  2. Anyone else here use Cart Commander? Here's the link if you don't know what i'm talking about.>> http://www.arcaderestoration.com/index.asp...ATA=4394&CBT=20 I'm just getting the hang of it. I'll post my list on my web page soon... this way anyone can download my list to see if I have extra copy of games i might wanna trade or sell.

    Future games?

Any rpg with battery save! Dungeon master, zelda, final fantasy or diablo like. anything!!
  5. ooops... it's the PSone version. the first Iron Soldier is still my all time favorite mech game...I'm pretty easy to please. My 2nd fav has to be the Armoured Core games on the psx. So if IS3 is as good as you say I'm gonna get it! Plus it has a two player mode!
  6. Geezz I gotta break out the 2600.. I can't remember the name of this excellent two player game... You drive 2 cars ( I think) around a maze collecting dots while trying not to crash into the other player...It was great fun back then.. I bet it still is now...was it slot racer?

The games I did play quite a bit were Demon Attack, Cosmic Ark, Dragonfire, and Atlantis. Of those games, I probably spent the most time playing Demon Attack and Dragonfire. I'd have to say I enjoyed Dragonfire more than Demon Attack. I remember Dragonfire being more difficult than Demon Attack, but more fun to play nonetheless. I really need to spend time playing some of the later titles. ..Al Did the same people that made the Imagic version of Subterriana on the 2600 have anything to do with the Genesis version?? I havn't played the 2600 one in years, I only played it at a friends house.. but was wondering about this.....
  8. Tempest 2000 on the Jag and Tempest X3 on the Playstation!! Some updates do work out. The new Spy Hunter is very playable too! Not evey update is a total wreak. Ohh and I did like the updated Asteroids on the PSX too. Maybe I'm a sucker for these things... I just like seeing what the designers do with the updates...It's part of the fun for me.
  9. wi1ykat- I like the removeable layer idea! I talked with my boss today about this. He's not to keen about it. He thinks I would make me competition for the company I work for. I'm like, What? So much for that idea... Now if I try and make one for myself he's gonna think I'm making it for profit... blahhh! I gotta talk to him some more. I wanna make a small one still...One case with foam cut two different ways. 1. standing, maybe on an angle 2. flat... maybe with layers... I'll get back... ohh i'd also like to put a small bar accross the back so the disply is on an angle. I think that would look even better. ....
  10. Here's a picture of the new Defender game for the PS2 that's coming out next year. Picture from Playstation Magazine...Nov. 2001 page 112.
  11. Is this game as good as the Jaguar versions? I loved the first IS on the Jag. A local vid-store has it new for $30! Just wondering if it's worth the cash?

  13. quote: Originally posted by Albert: I think we need to start selling Atari shirts here at AtariAge to help defray our operating costs. But I'm not too sure how keen Infogrames would be on that. I don't think anyone's really gone after anyone making money on the Atari name and logo yet, but with Infogrames starting up an Atari division who knows. ..Al But Sears sells Atari T-Shirts. How are they doing this? Because they did it before Infograms bought the Atari name? Just wondering...

    Sega?

Ummmm I have two sega games for the 2600. Tapper and Sub Scan which is a dead cart. Do you have Tapper ? If not you need it! Excellent gameplay and fantastic graphics! Umm I also collect Genny games to! I'm up to about 30 carts....My current favorite: Crue Ball!
  16. quote: Originally posted by Tempest: Not on the 2600 version, on the 400/800 and 5200 versions there's a second quest where you find a way out of the caverns. Tempest Would it be possible for someone to port over the 2nd quest from the computer version of Pitfall 2 to the 2600? We might call it Pitfall 3!!! Is this foolish? I've never seen the 2nd quest the 5200 and computer has. Is it to complex for the 2600?
  17. Only 5 systems hooked up to my TV at once. They where: 2600,Colecovision,Genesis,Dreamcast Playstation... But now I have a gameroom where my Genesis and 2600 is hooked up. The Coleovison is packed away. I sold the Dreamcast and PSone and bought a PS2. Which is on my small 19inch sharp TV in the livingroom. Great picture quality for only having RF/cable like inputs... Funny thing about the gameroom TV, it's a Quasar and it's logo looks like the atari fuji logo only smushed in on the sides...

  19. Below is a link to a drawing of a Lynx display case. I might be able to make these at work, I gotta talk to the boss about it. I have all the needed materials on hand. It's working out when I can make them. Saturdays?? I've made something simular to my design and it looked great. Maybe I can make a sample one (3 or 6 carts big)and take a picture of it and post it here. Any idea's or comments on the drawing? here's the link>>> http://users.rcn.com/alafleur/lynxcase.gif The picture's about 211KB. -Rick
  20. Well it looks like I have two options. The "D" power pack or NiMH rechargeables. I think I'll have better luck getting the "D" pack at a local shop. How expensive are NiMH batteries and the charger? What's a good brand name? Any other info is helpfull.. thanks..
  21. The only thing I hate about the Gamecube is it's design. I looks like an "Easy Bake Oven"!! The name's OK, I guess. I hated the name for the Dreamcast when I first heard it. It kinda fits it now. I sold mine a month ago when i bought my PS2. Which I love. It was an easy sell to the wife. With it's DVD playback. Read this in playstation magazine " If computers for work are called workstations then a console for gaming must be playstations" or soemthing to that affect. hhehe Sega's best system in my eye's was the genesis... great looking hardware and games...and the name was fitting... I still think the coolest looking game systems hardware design wise are the Genesis,LynxII and the PS2. I really like the Gameboy Advance too!
  22. Just a note to Atari-Jess. I love your avatar icon!! Funny stuff....
  23. What are the best batteries to buy for the lynx? Has anyone done some testing on this? I bet rechargable's are the way to go, but which ones? The Radio Shack guy just confussed me...
  24. I'll goto the easy one first. Least liked arcade game: Any Fighting game! Why?? Not sure, maybe it's a generation gap thing.... My favorite....only way to tell would be to count all the quarters I spent... mmmmmmm ahhhhhh now I know!!!! Asteroids!!! I remember spending all my money from my paper route on that game!!!! I was 13 or 14 years old..in about 1980ish... It's funny the corner store where is was in isn't even there any more, lost it to a fire... After that it must be these guys: Super Pac Man, Zaxxon, Marble Madness, Gravitar, Robotron... Gezz i know there's more... I plyed all these in a little arcade on the way to school... they opened early...it was a little arcade in the back of a mom and pop store.. loved that place...ohhh Defender was another one... Now all you see mostly in arcades nowadays is fighters and driving games... they look and play awsome... but i wish the arcades had more of a selection of original games... goto go watch new Reboot again!! i taped it!!
  25. Hey rolenta what's a NAVA meeting? I'm "BIG" time thinking of going to Phillyclassic next April.
