I'd have to say the first time I got into collecting 2600 games was the day I scored the best. This was about 1994. It was a 6switch with woodgrain and about 20+ games for I think about $15. I don't remember if there was any rare games in the bunch.. I did trade this for a Vextrex some years later. The sad thing is, I traded the thing for a Jaguar game about a year later!!! What a stupid thing to do!! This was before I had internet access. And to make matter's worse. I found game's for it sometime later...ahhhhhh!!!

1- Tele-Games six switch 2600. I'm new here so I'll post all my game systems. The 2600 listed above plus: 7800 - not sure of the year.. I see alot of talk about that here. Colecovision - only plays in black and white. Lynx - Still one of my favorites. Genesis - i've been buying more games for this then I should be. Playstation - Havn't played in months! Dreamcast - I'll be trading this in soon for a shiny PS2.

This is big news for me today! I've been going to the same Mom and Pop store for years...picking up mostly common carts..sometimes with directions... Today I go in and see some boxed 2600 games...Of course the box's are all mangled to death.. so i push them aside.. and low and behold.. not one but 2 Xonox double ender games!!I've never seen one of these in the wild! Needless to say he was only asking a $2 for each cart!!! It's so exciting! Funny but i still havn't seen a Pitfall 2 cart yet.....where are they all hiding? ohh I picked up Gyruss for a buck too.

The one's with holes in the edge you can put in a binder with 3 metal rings works nicely. The only problem is keeping them from spilling out of the top. I wish I had a picture to show you what I mean...
