No luck . No image on the screen, no clicking sound with either system. The LED on the console is on though. I think it's the switch box. Unfortunately, I bought it a year ago so can't return it... Later I'll get my ohms meter to test the parts of the switch box to see where the issue may be.

I really think someone should contact a manufacturer though. I mean one could make a lot by reselling these screens. I mean I have seen requests for replacement screens from over ten years ago, so I don't think it will ever happen . Oh well, guess my Microvision will just stay broken on the shelf, never to be played again.

Thanks. I will buy a replacement power supply. If that doesn't work, I will post on here again asking for advice.

So about a year ago I purchased a Microvision. It was for a decent price. The seller said it was "as is". I got it and the screen didn't work, and I figured out it was a common problem. Has anyone found a replacement screen yet?

Yes, I meant the switch box. I also have tried to change the mode from standby to on, but to no avail.

So I have done a lot of research on this but haven't found a solution. I bought an Atari 5200 off of eBay. Later, I bought a box that was labeled as tested and 100% working. I didn't have a power supply though, so I used one of a similar output to the 5200. The light on the 5200 came on but no signal on the TV nor did I hear a click from the box. I found a really cheap 5200 on eBay, so I bought it, plugged it in, same result. I have tried multiple cartridges. Any tips?

About a year ago I purchased a CIB RCA Studio II for a decent price. I said it was "as is," but since it came very the rare box that is needed to to hook it up to the TV along with the power cable and box, I decided I had to buy it. To my dismay when I got it and hooked it up, I heard a very loud sound coming from the speaker that would only stop when I pressed the "clear" button. On the TV the image was scrolling vertically and if I got lucky sometimes when I turned the unit off using the box it would display a few pixels, all which would be random. I am wondering if there is a fix for this.

I opened it up. Can you send me a picture of the adjustable cap? I think I see it but I don't know if that's it or not

I got it off eBay. Say it is the board, would it be a simple fix like replacing caps, or is it fried?

Just got my intellivison! . However, when I turn it on, the screen is black and white with no sound, and wavy (see video below). I have tried multiple rf switches, cables, tvs etc. What can it be? I am uploading the video, if the image is not enough.
