  1. I can almost guarantee it's the power supply, take a picture of the underside of the power supply so we know what the specs are on it. Just to rule out that it's not 9v.
  2. Here's a post with the same serial number power supply that you have #6-99702, it says it's 5.5dc 100ma. So I'm pretty sure it's the power supply. The 2600 power supply is 9vdc 500ma. Link: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/124507-heavy-sixersears-pong-power-supply-variants/
  3. That is your problem, that power supply is for the Sears pong console. You need a 2600 power supply. You can order one from Best Electronics or you can get one from RadioShack. I'll put a link below for Best and a post that has the RadioShack parts in it. If you're going to order from Best just send them an email and they will get back to you pretty quickly. 4. I'm not opposed to an upgraded version either, I think it would open doors for more people to play it rather than if it was just a straight arcade port. I love the game just the way it is though, it's really fun and really simple.
  5. Can you take a picture of the power supply?
  6. Custer's Revenge (CIB) well for the most part... I'm pretty sure the manual is just a copy.
  7. Wow, that's really cool. I didn't know about the O2 release until it was mentioned earlier. I'd like to do the same thing with the Colecovision, although I'd like to let the player select between b/w or color to keep it original to the arcade. Here's some gameplay of the O2 port
  8. I would get an adapter just to rule out that it's not the switchbox and the transformer that you have that you screw the two forks into.
  9. The adapter gets rid of the transformer that you screw the two forks into and the switchbox altogether. All you have to do is plug the rf cable from your Atari into the adapter and screw that into your antenna input on the back of your tv.
  10. If that doesn't fix the problem it could be a defective chip, which is covered in another post. It's good to try the small things first though because the Atari could be fine. Link: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/205212-atari-2600-jr-black-screen-weird-sound-help/
  11. Here's a link to the RadioShack adapter, if you have one I would suggest using that instead of the switchbox. Link: http://www.radioshack.com/radioshack-phono-rca-female-to-f-male-adapter/2780475.html#.VPuyjYY8LCR
  12. So are you using that switchbox in the picture to hook it to your tv? The Sears Telegames power supply is an official power supply, it's what Sears called their version of the Atari 2600 which is an identical console besides saying Telegames on the front.
  13. Just look at the power supply and you can tell. If it says Atari it's official, if it doesn't its universal. How are you hooking it to the tv? With a switch box or the RadioShack adapter? Last do you have it turned to the right channel? If you do try changing the switch to channel 2 if you're on 3 or 3 if you're on 2 and make sure the tv is on the right channel. I know it sounds stupid but it can sometimes be a simple mistake like that.
  14. Lol, I've looked at this sellers items before. Most of the items have that same girl in them, I wonder if it's his gf/friend? But I wouldn't pay over $40 for a complete n64. That's what you can get them for at my local game store with all the hookups and a controller, plus no shipping fees
  15. Humming from the console? Power supply? Are you using an Atari power supply or universal? Have you tried cleaning the contacts on the game and/or cartridge slot? Tried a different game? The Atari doesn't have a bios or startup screen so when you "ghost test" it (with no cartridge) it will always be a black screen.
  16. The cabinet graphics are a really good idea for the label, I wouldn't of thought of that. As far as interest goes that's basically why I made the post, to see how many people would reply and give their input on the idea.
  17. Now I know this topic has been talked about before but I just wanted to jog everyone's memory so maybe there can be a little more work done on it. I've put below links that talk about Death Race by Exidy being ported and a rough rom by Dav. I'd like to work on the game, although I don't know much about Colecovision programming at the moment. The point of this post is just to see how many people would like to see this happen? Maybe we could get a group together and work on it in our spare time or whatever and come out with a finished/polished project that works on real hardware and also uses the steering wheel module. 18. http://cinemassacre.com/2015/03/04/wizard-of-wor-arcade-atari-2600-5200-review-by-mike/ Wizard of Wor Arcade review throws in 2600/5200 ports as well. There's also a list of Mike's Atari 2600 collection included in the link.
  19. Mike just put out a Wizard of Wor arcade review where he reviews the 2600 and 5200 version as well. I was glad to see it because I've been playing a lot of the 2600 version lately, it's one of my favorites.
  20. I'd like to get one as well whenever they are back in stock. They look like a pretty cool little device, although there aren't many games made specifically for it so far.
  21. I would advise against using a universal if you can help it, but sometimes that's what you have lying around or you can find locally. You can order stock Atari power supplies from best electronics for around $10 or $15 if I can remember right. A universal power adapter I have used and haven't had any problems out of the Jr with is a RadioShack Enercell 9vdc 800ma, which is $4.97 online; to connect it to the Atari you need a Enercell Adaptaplug F, it's $6.97. The part numbers are Enercell Power Adapter #2730355 Enercell Adaptaplug F#2730339 Here are the links to the RadioShack site Enercell Power Adapter: http://www.radioshack.com/enercell-9vdc-800ma-ac-adapter/2730355.html#.VPZKWIY8LCR Enercell Adaptaplug F: http://www.radioshack.com/enercell-adaptaplug-f/2730339.html#.VPZMNoY8LCR
  22. Haha, cool idea I like the Cartwich Mark II the best.
  23. Looks cool, I'd buy a set. It would be a fun party game if you have friends that know Atari.
  24. Warlords board sold. Bezel and speaker/light still available if anyone is interested.
  25. If anyone's interested they can send me a pm. I'd be willing to get rid of it for cheap because I have no use for it, but I also don't have a way to test the board either.
