That's the one I was thinking about. He must have released his documents when he started work on it because I've got those on my hard drive. I recall at the time he didn't have any intention of making the //c version though. I'll contact him to see if that's changed. From the pictures it looks pretty much the same as the //c version so maybe it's just a ROM swap.

Yeah, the //c version definitely existed. I had one but I think the ][e version was much more popular. I think the original designer at Cutting Edge Enterprises was Clay....(Harrell?). I can't remember for sure. Something that's kind of interesting is that there's a big section of documentation regarding cracking that came with the Senior Prom. I recall this same document was released prior to the Senior Prom and word for word by the Disk Jockey. Hmm... ;)

Clay Harrell, yes. He's a mover and shaker in the pinball community these days. I reached out to him a while ago as a possible interview on my podcast, but he declined, saying he's forgotten basically everything about it and no longer had anything related to the Senior PROM in his possession. He did say that he and a buddy created and sold the Senior PROM while they were still in high school.

  2. I found this 3rd party joystick that made for Apple /// , finally. It comes from eBay image online. So now, I know what it looks like. So that is the answer. Not sure if the black button is really missing (right button) ? Look the image there ...

The black "button" is a three-position, mode-selecting toggle switch. Here's a description from an Apple peripheral pamphlet. Interesting... I have one of these joysticks and I don't seem to recall a toggle switch, just a regular button. I'll have to check tonight.

  3. (Sorry, I initially posted this with the NQP account, as you can see above...)

II Computing was published by ANTIC Publishing, Inc, a company which normally handled Atari stuffs. Kevin Savetz secured the rights to scan and post these magazines (and all the rest of their content). He passed them on to me; I scanned them and posted them here:
Part of my agreement with Kevin was to make sure that wherever else I uploaded them, a copy had to end up on Archive.org, which Jason handled nicely. The issues available on my site and Archive.org are the complete run of the magazine.
II Computing is posted with the IP owner's knowledge and consent.
    Thanks.
