When I ran a scan on the download folder only, I do get this warning from Windows Defender. This is the one I downloaded with Firefox at 11:27, on the Win 11 machine. I'm going to bed now but will power on my computers and check again in the morning. -

Understood. This is windows 10. Just wierd that it starts doing it tonight, haven't had a webpage show a hit since I built this laptop, 6 months ago. I also use Win 11 on my other laptop and I think I'll see if it shows a hit when I attempt to download those pages. -

Will do, but in this case it seems the site did, for this particular page. I've been downloading these pages since you first brought the Pico Expansion out and have never had a pagr trigger before. -

I think it is. This board has to do with video.

The site linked to is https://www.blunham.com/Radar/Teletext/index.html and has some good info as well as someting that almost resembles a Geneve or TI99/8 motherboard.

On the bottom of the same website is a link more information about the probable indivdual that may have once had possession of this cartridge. On that website it gives the datasheet for then IC you're asking about. The may be some more useful information there too. https://www.blunham.com/Radar/Teletext/PDFs/TMS3556DataSheet.pdf

Thanks Jason, I've been busy with Dr's appt. and other workers comp related stuff as well as my wife, but I plan on modifiying at least one shortly. -
I will say that I bought 4 teensy 4.0's, which are still in stock and built 4 of the Jedimatt style keyboard adapters. The 4.0's are still in stock. These work well in place of the 3.2 series. same footprint

The MinipPrp TL866 programmers, come with a Windows based programming enviroment. You can pick and choose the devices you are dumping and programming to include whatever GAL chips are in the list. For a Gal, you just need the *.jed file for the programmer, load it in and hit the program button. Now to get to the jed file requires some work, for example dumping the Pal chip for a Geneve VDP, requires a device, like a DuPal decoder, to decode the inputs and outputs of the Pal, then a step to convert that information into an equation that is then converted into a jed file to be programmed into a Gal. That's where I'm stuck at, for the moment as I've been busy with other things and haven't learned that step yet. But if the Jed files are already available like the ones that Fritz442 has posted here on thes forums, then you can burn those easily with a TL866 programmer.

So do I connect 1 wire to the top chip and one to the bottom, or are both wires connected to the top? Can't quite make it out in this photo. Does the firmware need to be updated? -
Gals can still be purchased from the electronic outlets, like Mouser, and such, their not dead yet. But the ATF's can be used too. You can still purchase Pal's on Jameco and ebay.
