I would open/trade it..... Unless you're planning to sell it sometime in the future - why not? It's no fun sitting there sealed - and a LOT of fun to play - moreso than on your PC (in my opinion). I love to get a sealed game (tho I won't pay a LOT extra to get one) so I have a pristene label/instructions/box etc. .. but I always open them.

Does this exist for 2600? I've never seen it... but I read (I think in DP guide) that it does?

I hope they start selling their games here! I'll buy some.

Yes - thanks again - this is great!!

Nice find!! Great game and pretty hard to find. I hate to admit that I paid $10 for a copy with a really faded label... It's a really fun game though - I don't even feel bad about the tenner (but I wish it was $3 ).

Just got a Room of Doom! Yay! Pretty fun.... Anyone know what all the options are? I don't have a manual. It seems like the difficulty switches control your starting level... but what about all the different select options?? Anyone have the book, and feel like sharing? Thanks in advance!

Saboteur - Don't kill the Gorfons!! GREAT game.

Well, Bridge probably has to suck the worst - but then again, I don't know how to play real Bridge, so that's a little biased. Oink - sucks bad!!!!! Can't stand that game.

Just wondering : what less common games are you playing recently, and what do you think makes them fun? Sometimes a new perspective on a game you might be neglecting can breathe new life into it (I think!). 3 games I've been playing: Entombed: Crude, yes, but seemingly endless variety of mazes and frantic all out running in the later stages really make it fun,,, Also, the two player game adds a whole new element!! Stuntman: I might be crazy with this one, but it's got a kind of Donkey Kong Jr. feel that's pretty cool. Also, there's different stuff to do on each stage (at least the 1st 3 that I can get throgh ) Awful out of tune music really cracks me up! Saboteur: Not really uncommon since you can buy it easily at the Atariage store - but what a GREAT game!!!!! I'm really shocked at how good it is. It's like finding out your favorite disbanded band had one more secret album of great songs. Allright, anyone else?

Yeah, that would be good (hack w/reproduction)! As far as using cuttle cart or supercharger... I'd just much rather have a real cartridge. Also, I love having the instruction manual (even though I know I can get all that info here). I just like having it all with my Atari, just like old times.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I wonder... Is there any reason why very rare games like Crazy Climber, Quadrun, Cakewalk etc. couldn't be re-released by someone (AtariAge )? I guess it's a copyright issue? I understand some games have been re-released at Expos etc. but in limited quantities... I know that I would love to buy a reproduction of a lot of very rare games that I want but can't/won't afford. I've got a pretty healthy (250+) collection at this point - but I mostly collect them because I love to play them. Missing from my collection are some very fun (but too expensive) games. I want to play them on my 2600, have the instructions, and gaze at the boxes lovingly ! Why must I be denied?

Where'd you get a multi-cart??

What happened to your Original Atari as a kid in 70-80's?
elviticus replied to Kenwood's topic in Atari 2600
Sold it to a neighbor to get an Atari 800. -
Are you sure you're not using driving controllers? Indy 500 uses these, and the other 2 use paddles.
-
I'd get it (esp at that price!) just to add to my collection.... But, I remember renting one from Blockbuster when they first came out - prepare for a headache if you play it!!!!

Got an O2 multicart - it's great!!!! Lots of fun/funny games on one nicely produced cart - a really good deal, I think. Anyone know a a good site with instructions for O2 games? Most are very straightforward, but there are a few that I'd love to know what I'm doing . Thanks for any help with this.

Anybody have some Channel F advice?
elviticus replied to elviticus's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Well, No letter on the screen... and I can't get a game to play when I press the buttons... Just a green screen, and sometimes I get nonsense pixels randomly on the screen - this can't be good! I also tried a couple carts... I think I'd better contact the seller. -
Well, I just won a Channel F (cheap!) on E-bay.... but.... it seems to be DOA. I hooked it up, turned TV to channel 3, and I just get a blank green screen - and white noise from the TV speaker. Is there anything I'm missing, as far as set-up goes? If not, any way I might fix it?

Saw one of these in a magazine awhile ago. It's a vertical stand, like an arcade cabinet, but to hold a TV and a few systems beneath..... I'm out of space in my gameroom and tried searching for one of these on the web... Anyone know what I'm talking about? All my searching so far is fruitless. Any help is appreciated!!

Just got Jungler for my Arcadia - but no instructions. Is there any site out there that has them? Fun game, just wondering what all the variations are etc. Thanks!

The O2 is more fun than I thought it would be.... Pick axe Pete is REALLY fun. KC games are pretty cool too. 2600 Starship on the other hand.... hard to love!
-
Megamania, River Raid, Jr. Pac-man, Stampede all would be good for a first time player - rock solid gameplay!

Guilty as charged!! I obviously have no idea how to use my computer..... I felt happy to get the picture on my post period. I'm ashamed to say, I don't know how to make either the picture OR the file size smaller - sorry! Oh, the humiliation I will endure to get a patch! Albert, re-sent my e-mail.
