  1. I would open/trade it..... Unless you're planning to sell it sometime in the future - why not? It's no fun sitting there sealed - and a LOT of fun to play - moreso than on your PC (in my opinion). I love to get a sealed game (tho I won't pay a LOT extra to get one) so I have a pristene label/instructions/box etc. .. but I always open them.

  2. Nice find!! Great game and pretty hard to find. I hate to admit that I paid $10 for a copy with a really faded label... It's a really fun game though - I don't even feel bad about the tenner (but I wish it was $3 :D ).

  3. Just got a Room of Doom! Yay! Pretty fun.... Anyone know what all the options are? I don't have a manual. It seems like the difficulty switches control your starting level... but what about all the different select options?? Anyone have the book, and feel like sharing? :D

    Thanks in advance!

  4. Just wondering : what less common games are you playing recently, and what do you think makes them fun? Sometimes a new perspective on a game you might be neglecting can breathe new life into it (I think!).

    3 games I've been playing:

Entombed: Crude, yes, but seemingly endless variety of mazes and frantic all out running in the later stages really make it fun,,, Also, the two player game adds a whole new element!!

Stuntman: I might be crazy with this one, but it's got a kind of Donkey Kong Jr. feel that's pretty cool. Also, there's different stuff to do on each stage (at least the 1st 3 that I can get throgh :) ) Awful out of tune music really cracks me up!

Saboteur: Not really uncommon since you can buy it easily at the Atariage store - but what a GREAT game!!!!! I'm really shocked at how good it is. It's like finding out your favorite disbanded band had one more secret album of great songs.

    Allright, anyone else?

  5. Yeah, that would be good (hack w/reproduction)! As far as using cuttle cart or supercharger... I'd just much rather have a real cartridge. Also, I love having the instruction manual (even though I know I can get all that info here). I just like having it all with my Atari, just like old times. ;)

  6. I'm sure this has been asked before, but I wonder... Is there any reason why very rare games like Crazy Climber, Quadrun, Cakewalk etc. couldn't be re-released by someone (AtariAge :) )? I guess it's a copyright issue?

I understand some games have been re-released at Expos etc. but in limited quantities... I know that I would love to buy a reproduction of a lot of very rare games that I want but can't/won't afford.

I've got a pretty healthy (250+) collection at this point - but I mostly collect them because I love to play them. Missing from my collection are some very fun (but too expensive) games. I want to play them on my 2600, have the instructions, and gaze at the boxes lovingly  ! Why must I be denied? :D

  7. Got an O2 multicart - it's great!!!! Lots of fun/funny games on one nicely produced cart - a really good deal, I think.

Anyone know a a good site with instructions for O2 games? Most are very straightforward, but there are a few that I'd love to know what I'm doing  .

Thanks for any help with this.

  8. Saw one of these in a magazine awhile ago. It's a vertical stand, like an arcade cabinet, but to hold a TV and a few systems beneath..... I'm out of space in my gameroom and tried searching for one of these on the web... Anyone know what I'm talking about? All my searching so far is fruitless. Any help is appreciated!!

  9. Guilty as charged!! I obviously have no idea how to use my computer..... I felt happy to get the picture on my post period. I'm ashamed to say, I don't know how to make either the picture OR the file size smaller - sorry! Oh, the humiliation I will endure to get a patch! :D

    Albert, re-sent my e-mail.
