Action Man: Action Force. It's one of those games that become really enjoyable once you master the controls and weird physics. I also enjoy shooting the cobra's and watching them explode, which looks very violent for 2600 standards.

I use a 25" Sanyo 28H1A for all my retro gaming needs. Probably going to "upgrade" to a Trinitron when the Sanyo TV bites the dust.

All is good here as well.
If someone has a question about the actual item or wants to give me an offer, then go ahead.
-
Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you are still skeptical then nothing I will say will change that.

I'm not the most honest person in the world, but I shall promise that I provide pictures in the future to prevent misunderstandings like this

I thought that a game this rare would generate more feedback, but maybe I was just naive.
I didn't name a price because I wanted to get a few offers first, and the game goes to the one with the best offer.
Didn't post a picture because most here probably know how a Glacier Patrol Cart looks like. Will post one if someone needs it.
And there are a lot of threads here on the marketplace that have no picture at all.
PS: Is it my fault that I don't have 10k+ Post or didn't been here for a couple years? I'm a lurker and rarely use/post on forums, but that should not be a reason to trust me more or less IMHO.

I'm probably not going to leave this here for long, based on the (lack of) interest

And also because Test = Review.

Mike's reviews are getting better and better. Don't understand why the guy has so many haters.

GTA 5 does look better but not a lot better. It also has some pop issues AFAIK.
GTA 5 on the PC will probably look a lot better though. Much better textures and the ability to play it in 4k will make this game look like a lot better for sure.

That's a really nice looking flag right there

Sucks to hear that. Don't apologize, family and emergency situations like this should always come first.

I think "The Witcher 3" will be one of the first games that would make me feel that way.
Uncharted 3 looks also great but not a lot better than last games of the last generation. Don't think that we will see a major step up in graphics or gameplay in this generation.
Hope that I'm wrong but the games industry is clearly focused on making one sequel after the other and milking everything out of their franchises.
There are some exceptions thankfully.

Cart only, sorry

Hey Yo,
wanted to see if anyone would be interested in buying this game. I rather sell it here before I have to put it up for auction on that site that starts with an e
.Would also trade this in for some 2600 games, CIB if possible. Can give you a rough list of games if you are interested in trading.

I opened a case and left a message that describes the problem and I even tried being nice for once
.This is the first time that I opened a case on ebay, so I hope it doesn't backfire.
-
Would a claim work in this case? I didn't pay via paypal and is there even a warranty on a used console?
Never tried that so I'm curious.

Can't seem to be able to edit my post so I'll post the link in raw form: http://imgur.com/a/BcGCL
Now it should work

Opened the 7800 just now and I can't see what's wrong. The AV Mod looks fine AFAIK and MARIA lokks also OK. The solder joints look also good, so it seems that whoever modded this console knew at least how to solder or/and had steady hands

I made some (crappy) pictures of the board so you can take a look at it. Let me know if you want to have a picture of a certain area on the board. http://imgur.com/a/BcGCL
I already gave up on the seller. He seems to think that it isn't his fault and wants to send me videos and pictures of his other modded consoles that seem to work. He doesn't seem to realize that this doesn't help any of us
-
Well he didn't have Food Fight but I got Joust instead. That's the good news.
The bad news is that I still get the same result (changing colors, unstable picture), The seller just sends me the same thing over and over again.
He claims that nothing is wrong with the console and that he sold 10 of them and none of them had a problem. He also repeats that I should change the channel to 0 or AV.
Guess I had bad luck this time.

My choice would be Asteroids. It's a timeless classsic and those vector graphics are hard to reproduce on modern hardware.

The most "valuable" game in my 2600 collection would be Glacier Patrol. I got it in a box with a whole bunch of other games.
It seems to go for around €70~ on ebay right now.
-
I can't try any other 7800 games because I only have Asteroids but I'm going to Subotron tomorrow and buy some games.
Hope they have Food Fight

Already tried on different TV with the same result. Can't try another power supply because I only have the one that come with the console (It's a shame that the 2600 power supply doesn't work).
The pins in the cartridge slot couldn't be a problem because the problem occurs when I play Asteroids, which is already pre-installed in the 7800 (PAL).I don't have any other games right now. Cleaning it is always a good thing though.
Opening the console wouldn't be a problem, the bigger problem is finding the electronic component that is causing the issue. It could be as easy simply adding or removing a resistor or a bigger problem.
PS: I'm really grateful for the help from you guys. It isn't that common nowadays to find such a nice community.

What's your favorite "kind" of game?

Fixed Shooters. There are a lot of good ones on the 2600 and it's a genre that works fine on "weak" hardware.
