  1. Oh, I plan to buy Xenon 2: Mega Blast for the Jaguar. I've seen play footage of it. Currently the only port of this shooter that I own is for the Sega Master System. A U.K. release, but it plays fine on an NTSC console on a CRT. Glitchy on some HD TVs (North American ones anyway). I really want the upgrade to the Jaguar, as it looks great!
  2. I was afraid of something like that. Of course, there's always the version released for the ZX Spectrum.
  3. I've died alot of cheap deaths in shooters. I'm use to it. But if you don't like cheap deaths then steer clear of the 3 shooters Mythicon released for the 2600. Plus which, they're not even good looking, or sounding, or playing. "Fantastic Voyage" looks and sounds great, and I want to play it.
  4. I've heard from other Retro Gamers that they would like to see more Atari 8-bit Computer games ported to either the 2600, the 7800, or both. Here are a couple suggested to me that I, quite frankly, would love to see ported. Caverns of Mars II We received a great port of the first Caverns of Mars to the 2600 as Conquest of Mars. So how about a Conquest of Mars II? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UL-hEbJeLY Phobos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Q0oAGeCMEQ I'd buy them if they were offered.

  6. I have misplaced the manuals for all the loose cart releases that I have purchased from Atari Age. I'd hate to have to go to the expense of buying all of the carts again just to get a replacement manual. I know where all the manuals are for the games that I bought CIB, as I kept them (the manuals) in their original boxes. Here are the games that I need replacement manuals for. I'm leaving off "Alligator People" for the 2600, as it never had a manual to begin with: Good game though. ATARI 2600 Amiga Boing! Demo 2.0 Allia Quest AStar Bee-Ball Colony 7 Conquest of Mars Crazy Brix FailSafe Mental Kombat Oystron Pinata (Multicart; Discontinued) Stay Frosty 2 Stella's Stocking (Multicart) This Planet Sucks Tournament Cyberball X3V0LuX ATARI 5200 Beef Drop VE Atari 7800 Asteroids Deluxe Astro Blaster Beef Drop VE Crazy Otto Meteor Shower (Blue label) Jr. Pac-Man Worm! As I mentioned, the games that I bought CIB from Atari Age still have their manuals. Also, this obviously does not apply to the 2 games just shipped to me today, nor the 2 ordered games than are still being processed. I am quite willing to pay for the replacement manuals.
  7. As much as I love the "Fantastic Voyage" game for the 2600, there is a more faithful game to the movie. The Amiga release of "Fantastic Voyage" looks amazing. Royalties aside, is it technically possible? I realize that most ports to the Jaguar originated as Atari ST releases. I would buy a Jaguar port if it were offered. It would have to be on cartridge though as I can never find a working Jaguar CD drive, much less at a reasonable price. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xr4R3gz3Igw
  8. What exactly will the finished product play? What are it's specs?
  9. I want a shell at the least. Expect my order soon. What exactly will the finished console play? Would you consider making new Jaguar CD drives?
  10. I've had multiple systems go screwy on me after I made the mistake of buying a Hyperkin Retron FC. To wit: Atari VCS 4-switch: The On/Off switch is flaky. I have to tap on it smetimes to get it to come on. 3DO (Goldstar): Center spinal dosen't lower when closing drawer, which causes it to catch. GameCube: Power light comes on, but is orange. No audio or video. Hyperkin died. No loss! I already had issues with: Atari 7800: RF output so weak it look terrible, when it actually triggers the RF converter. 2 NES Model 1s needing new pins. I have now bought another model 1 NES, and another GameCube. Everything else - no problem.
  11. I generally keep Cybermorph loaded in the cartridge slot.
  12. Mine has given me this problem and I suspected bent contacts in the cartridge port, as the cartridges will move back and forth just touching them. Just giving the cartridge a tap will usually clear the problem up. I mentioned this to the manager of a local retro gaming store that repairs and mods old systems. He replied that bent contacts in the cartridge port is almost certainly the cause.
