  1. Thank you very much for replying! Any chance work on this might continue sometime? Or a collab? Better mousetraps for all!
  2. So which Atari 2600 football (for the US Atarians: soccer) game its the best in your mind? And which controllers do work best with it? I have Pele's Championship Soccer (Atari CX-2616-P) and it actually is fun if played in a tournament, except the hands hurt after short time (original Atari joysticks).
  3. Sounds very fascinating! Any chance? If technically possible, an "AVM cartridge"/mod for 2600 would be neat, too.
  4. What became of this project? It would be great to see how it compares to the original CyberTech mod, Longhorn Engineer's board and the Electronic Sentimentalities AV mod boards. Paging Nathan Strum!
  5. Too bad I missed your presentation at "Atari: die Guten Jahre / The good years"! Here's the link to the Facebook event with another (?) video of it: https://www.facebook.com/events/643699749091821 Digital Retro Park put up a lot of the exhibits on their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/digitalretropark, for all Atari-lovers who couldn't make it to Oftenbach in February. Hmh, now that I think of it--I'm not sure if I've seen anything about the exhibition at AtariAge.com. It was really fascinating--from the original Pong game to arcade games, consoles and all sort of controllers, plus the home computers, everything was set up accessible and ready to use. Or rather, play. Fun stuff! In Fall, they hope to open a museum in Offenbach with digital entertainment and computing gear of yesteryear. A cool project! (And no surprise many of the volunteers behind Digital Retro Park are also involved with the annual Bended Realities Festival with Maker Faire http://bendedrealities.blogsport.de in Offenbach am Main, Germany.)
  6. Hi, is there any chance of a 2600 "ATARI Video Cartridge" with audio line-in and video-output through the game console? Button functions could be replaced by controllers like for SynthCart… or buttons added to the cart. I saw an AVM in the recent ATARI exhibition in Germany and was taken with it. The Make project mentioned above supposedly only speaks NTSC, not PAL. http://makeprojects....usic 3000/606/1 (Obviously I'm not an engineer.)
  7. My first Atari! "MANUFACTURED FOR ATARI, INC. BY WONG'S ELECTRONICS CO. LTD: IN HONGKONG MODEL NO CX-2600 P" Serial Number 8003825 Woodgrain Light Sixer, speaker vents, channel switch A-B at bottom, PAL. The cable to the tv is coming out of the box and goes straight into the LED tv's antenna port. The tv recognized it as new analogue channel. I got it for us for Valentine's (n00b alert!). Included were joysticks and one set of paddles and four all-Atari games (Space Invaders, Championship Soccer, Breakout, Basketball) with boxes and manuals (except one), setup manual, and a brochure of cartridges available from Atari. Were these games maybe included with the console when it came out in Germany? Cheers, DJV. https://www.facebook.com/DJVollkasko
