  1. Yeah but Doom is a special game on Jag. Concider getting a second console. If you like jaglink Doom one day You ll need it. Yes, 10 to 15 great games on the system, if you re not too harsh in your judgement, ha, 25% of the library without even sniffing any strange plastig gases yet. Just me
  2. Broken carts? Loose carts say one or two things about how good/bad the owner treated the game. While CIB have been treated well. Who know maybe loose cart owner threw the cart into the Wall in frustration… I know the feeling
  3. I have problems with my NBA TE cart as well, and it is the only cart among official releases that bug on me. But in my case it is the sound. It turns into sharp data sounds in game. When it come to the only game sell pitching itself to be a 3D sound game it becomes even more annoying. Haven’t cleaned it yet though.
  4. Atlantis

    Maddeness

    I ll buy that for a $ !
  5. ^ thank you for your klick bait bully cheap point contribution?? Or? yes assholes, opinions, that is exacly what we discuss here when it comes to a certain game in mind. If you dislike this discussion please avoid and klick other thread. Or if you like cold objectivism and want to avoid subjectivism there are several tech subforums you can enter and also fart in, of you dare. I sure dont, and stay here in public domain. this is the place of public opinions, yes, exchange of voodoo ish jibberish as entertainment. Kill an hour. yes we all have an asshole and an opinion… I prefer to use my opinion…. But sometime its hard here, by some reason. by the way, you are a funny guy. Welcome, tell us your opinion on the game.
  6. Yes BM is a new era game in line with the future of kinder games rewarding your progress while Cyber is an old sadist still mixing the points chase/high score list into the formula. I prefer BM over CM. then again, do you like it harsh retro maybe you prefer Cyber or ANy other arcade like Jag title…? It is hard for me to dislike Jag games due to the high charm lever and the sympathy for an underdog fighting the giants of Sony and Nintendo pushing their gold treasures to new future landmarks. Hell, I enjoy all of 90s gaming, an insane and intresting era. Win95 didnt help Atari either. Doomed but with cool retro thinking trying to work with the new ideas of gaming. A hybrid beast. Unique to me.
  7. Atari went again all-in on retro style games with point chase and highscore lists, when the gamer producers and consumers went on mentaly towards the non-retro modern style of the new era of ps1 n64 and epic adventures in stunning 3d worlds where you can progress in adventures not being beaten by a harsh sadistic points chasing game. if you compare Lynch games with Gameboy games Lynx is that old sadist while Gameboy games are kind and your new best friend giving you good self esteem not crushing you after one minute or at 11 minutes. Missunderstand me right. This is my second language.
  8. I have only read reviews about Jaguar games on that review site. Me myself enjoyed Slime world and find it to be a strong title. But I can understand that someone can find it to be a slime mess with lack of orientation and having problems with understanding damage, monsters and items and so on. Maybe a hate it or love it title?? It is again about old games tough learning curve. Games were sadistic back then when games today watt to suck you in ti become an addicted junkie.
  9. This seems to be a nice looking fun game! And console exclusive I reckon. Had some unluck with modern releases though which got me to ”dra öronen åt mig”. Got two games one dead at arrival and another that Died after six months. And I have never had ANy problem with ANY cart before or since. Not pointing fingers here, only sharing my experience. Just threw them in the trash. Well ”tredje gången gillt”. Might give it a go some day, order this. By the way is it possible to still order Joust port? Got only Bubble bobble and Gauntlet II by some reason unknown… Gazee still around? Would be two awesome games for sure! And congratz to canvas and shining cart. So cool!
  10. Seems like BL has a learning curve a bit too hard… not sucking you in like Tempest. If bad, I can still enjoy bad games due to the so-bad-it’s-good factor. He he, I watched Highlander playthrough, then beat it with immortal code than in default mortal mode, and had alot of fun doing so. BL I just put on my to play-alot list not at first place in the list yet.
  11. Yes I have read lots of his reviews before. They are well-written and spot-on. Havent given the game too many chanses, nor Vidgrid, yet. When my cd-add is set again I Will give it a new go. For what I remember I think D is a good and correct judgement. I wouldnt hold it against him, but its a mattet of taste. Do one compare it towards other Jag games - or do one compare it towards favorite PS5 games?
  12. P&p omg. Terrible. I like to read ttrpg, noone to game with there days (am 42, wife, 3 kids). And ordered five books, two splatt books, one GM screen for 140 usd, from Georgia US to Sweden EU… Guess the p&p? ———-> 107 Usd. why did I proceed? Hell, support… consume… I likey Imagine RPG, sorry my bad. we will probably need to get used to this for years n years to come. In this new Brave — sorry, Boring—- world. get used to pay as much in p&p as the item you buy when ordering world wide. Corona is to blame… Will you end??? Gahh!!
  13. Some more people will have the opportunity to play this very well done game (box manual too) port to J. This is how you as a producer support the fans; it is not only about support of the producers, you know. We work together to keep this cat alive. Thanks, for 2nd run when I got in on it. And thanks for this 3rd one too.
  14. ^sad in a way. Am 42 and grew up with borrowing a 2600 from my relative who got the system from a friend who owned him money. Later c64, nes, amiga, n64, then neogeo vintage from 2000 forward. Jag in 2014. Thought about my collection, as lots of crap collecting dust. Sold it cheap to scalper who came and took all the shit i had and only own Neo, n64 and Jag today. Oldest son loves em. when i die he Will have it, now in a descent amount of actually not drowning in 10 different systems. A nice well picked collection. Play what i own. so at least my son Will grov up on my vintage stuff, and is allready nostalgic about it. I tought him gaming with super burnout (hold B + left/right). Now he is really good at neo 1vs1 fighters pulling of magic stuff, what a thrill!!! there is small future for our kind. Maybe the youngsters buying old school systems Will do the same? The collections Will be *somewhere* if not all people throw all of it when systems and carts are all dead.
  15. Did i understand you correct, like a … whole in the very jaguar console to input your… love organ in…? Woooww…!
  16. Alot of people around here consider it the best Jag CD game, no mystery there. why those who do, bash the game? Just guessing here. One reason: hotter stuff on the horizon, coming 95 and 96. second: I enjoy it alot. Have beaten it in Easy mode. Great music. BUT it took me almost an hour to understand the game’s logic. People seldom have that energy, while comparing it to Starfox on rails. Yeah that argument ’morph vs ’fox. Together with being on an obscure and detested system’s Add-on CD module… Just me.
  17. When I think of it, must say cheers and hat off you are making a 3D roam around game. The cool Jag need more of it and fans by this date deserves it. (Microsoft geef us some billions plix for full potential tapped maximum games!) maybe Abyss is the next one… ill buy that for a 200 dollar!!
  18. Slap som 64-bit graphics and 3D sound on that and we’re set! Naaah, lightheartedly” i wish you the best with Abyss - great name
  19. There is an end picture in Aircars with a babe, if someone of you could help us by posting it here, plix. Just asking… (by the way, gals feel free to post sexy men from the Jag game universe here, for gender equality)
  20. Hi, A couple of years ago I asked this, maybe I hit an early platue, to be kind to my judment back then, but as I see it once again: may we now see the roof of the video game craze? Will the bubble burst soon? I see lots of games being priced at a cartel-like fixed price lever, not selling, just being the demanded price they are willing to let the item go for. Lots and lots of copies of the same game for the same ”cartel” -like price setting. This, together with more items of less rare value, common games, being put out for real auction. Might this being followed by future games of slightly more rarer value, and so on… and on… With covid also hitting game collectors, maybe now more interested in letting items part from their collection for some cash flow gaining more money then when bought. I mean, lots of people see collecting as an investment, also, and for that to be true you need to put them out on the market at some point - cashing out at the peak, for more games than just the shite. What is your take on the matter 2021? (Hope I dont rubb you the wrong way)
  21. And not pro ctrl compatible but pro ctrl DEMANDING for advanced circle-strafing virtuoso acts
  22. Think that but super fast and in 3D and 2000 mode… the music is perfect tho
