Just purchased a Vectrex

[Just purchased a Vectrex]

Hi,

 

I just purchased a Vectrex and was wondering how long it usually takes for a Vectrex to turn on. What is considered normal? The reason I ask is because the Vectrex I purchased seems to take a little while to come on after it has not been used for several hours. I'm wondering if this means that capacitors are failing in the unit? Should I send the unit back to the seller for a refund?

Hi,

 

I'm looking to purchase a Vectrex. I have read not to fool with the ones manufactured in Taiwan. Does anyone have any advise they could give me as to what to look for when purchasing a Vectrex? Also, I have read conflicting reports as to the reliability of this system. in your opinion, how reliable are they?
